Chapter 639

"Yeah, this is for you." Isaac gave her a slight nod, and the guy handed over the roses to Brittany before leaving.

With a big bunch of roses in her arms, Brittany was almost knocked out by the scent.

Isaac considerately handed the roses to the waiter for safekeeping.

The waiter had seen plenty of lovebirds sending flowers, but it was rare to see such a mature couple still cooking up surprises.

After some sweet nothings, Brittany blushed to her ears.

The waiter left with the roses, and the crowd started to murmur.

Brittany couldn't help herself and stepped hard on Isaac's foot under the table. "Isaac, what are you up to?"

Was he trying to draw the spotlight with all these people around?

Isaac smoothly grabbed her leg. "Keep still."

Brittany looked flushed, and she began to struggle. "Isaac, let go of me."

After noticing that she had become angry, Isaac let go. "Just eat."

Brittany finished her meal under the curious eyes of the entire restaurant.

Before leaving, the waiter handed the roses back to Brittany. She drew quite a crowd while holding a big bunch of roses and following Isaac.

Daniel whispered to Isaac as he leaned on his shoulder. "Dad, remember to pay me back for the roses."

He spent all his allowance to buy all those flowers.

Isaac tweaked his nose. "Don't do this again; you got it?"

Brittany was not good at handling such situations; she might run away if this happened again.

Daniel huffed.

Back at the hotel, Brittany and Isaac entered the elevator.

On the second floor, a group of people joined them.

""Ms. Dustin?"

The secretary and others on the business trip choked at the sight of the family of three in the elevator.

They exchanged glances. "Are Ms. Dustin and Mr. Salter really back together?"

"They must be. Would Ms. Dustin accept such a big bunch of roses if they weren't?"

Brittany gripped the roses tightly as her fingers turned pale.

"Get in." She said.

They quietly got into the elevator.

The elevator was filled with the scent of roses. The secretary nervously greeted Isaac and then stayed silent. Daniel was in Isaac's arms as he reached out to Brittany. "Mom, can you sleep with me and Dad tonight?" Everyone in the elevator was shocked. Mr. Salter and Ms. Dustin really had a child, and they were back together. Ms. Dustin went on a business trip, so Mr. Salter brought the kid to chase her. What a beautiful love story! Their faces were filled with surprise.

Brittany wanted to hide in a hole, and Daniel was still waiting for an answer.

Brittany lowered her voice. "Daniel Salter, shut up!"

Daniel saw her expression and shrank back, but still said, "Dad, seems like Mom doesn't want to sleep with me. I'll sleep by myself...but other kids always sleep with their parents." Isaac realized that Brittany was about to lose it.

The others in the elevator tried to make themselves invisible, but they were still all ears.

After five years of separation, Ms. Dustin and Mr. Salter's affection was like a thirsty man replaceing water; even their child was ignored.

When the elevator stopped, they rushed out.

Brittany, with a bunch of roses in hand, left the elevator and quickly headed to her room.

Isaac was in awe of Daniel's cleverness. He was indeed his son; he was brilliant.

Then he turned to the secretary and others. "You guys know Ms. Dustin is shy; don't spread what happened tonight."

"Mr. Salter, we know how to handle this."

Even though they were curious, they wouldn't talk about it casually.

The secretary wisely came over and whispered a few words, earning Isaac's praise.

"I'll talk to Ms. Dustin sometime; I'll make sure you guys get a promotion and raise."
