Chapter 461

"Bam" The office door was flung open.

Isaac appeared at the doorway with a gloomy face. He chuckled coldly, "Did I interrupt something?"

Isaac's unexpected appearance surprised Brittany, especially in those circumstances.

William was also taken aback. He quickly tried to explain, Zac, you've got it all wrong. I'm here because of the rumors on the internet..."

Isaac was furing. Brittany clearly didn't take him seriously!

Rumors of her and William were swirling around, yet not only did Brittany not avoid William, but she kept contacting him in private!

Ignoring William, Isaac walked straight up to Brittany, his face dark with anger, "I waited all night. You know better than I do how flippant your explanation was. If that night was a misunderstanding, what's this now?"

The anger in Isaac's eyes scared Brittany. She tried to explain, Zakky, William and I aren't what you think."

She wanted to keep her distance from William, but she couldn't just kick him out since he had come. Isaac grabbed her hand, pulled her into his arms, and then glared at William, William, we re friends, but Brittany is my wife, Please keep your distance from her."

Williams face changed instantly.

Isaac left with Brittany. A surge of anger stormed in his heart. He shoved her into the car, slammed the door shut with a "bang" and headed straight for Radiant Residences.

Brittany knew Isaac was angry. Usually, she was quite eloquent, but at that moment, she had no idea what to say and chose to stay silent..

The ride was silent. The car was filled with a mix of anger and chill, making it unbearably oppressive.

Once they arrived at Radiant Residences, Isaac helped Brittany out of the car. He lifted her up in his arms and carried her up to the second floor.

Emily, noticing the tense atmosphere, quickly followed.

"Mr. Salter..." A loud door slam cut off her sentence. Emily was startled.

Isaac pinned Brittany to the bed. His face was icy cold. He held her chin with one hand, "What did William want from you?"

Brittany wasn't someone to be pushed around. She was angry too..

She pushed against his chest, but he didn't budge, "William was just worried about me." She took a deep breath, "I've told you, nothing inappropriate happened between William and me."

If it were before, Brittany wouldn't bother explaining and might even fight back and suggest divorce. But then, she had it all figured out. Even though Isaac's betrayal was despicable, she still loved him and wanted to be with him,

Isaac tightened his grip, hus gaze icy. "Brittany, I'm warning you: from now on, no more contact with William!"

William was always a concern for him.

William had loved her for many years, even losing his legs for her.

Isaac wasn't sure if Brittany would always choose him.

Brittany's face hardened, "Zakky, I see no reason to do so." She owed William. She couldn't distance herself from him because of this.

In a rage, Isaac retorted, "Are you not willing to keep your distance from him because you want to divorce me?"

Brittany calmly pushed him away, "Isaac, I can explain our situation, but please do not involve innocent people."

"Innocent people?"

Isaac laughed coldly. His anger was uncontrollable, "William has loved you for many years. He even lost his legs for you. Can you honestly say you weren't moved by him at all?"

Brittany was frozen on the bed, apparently not expecting Isaac to doubt her on this matter. Tears slid down her cheeks, "So what?"
