Chapter 868
"Enough already!" Marcel exploded, his voice thundering through the office. "If we're family, shouldn't we be pulling together?"
"Marcel, you're not even in the family tree! What family are you talking about?"
"Yeah, and let me tell you, we need that money back, or else we're heading straight to Zac!" Isaac had never seen such losses in all his years at Grandeur Capital!
A bunch of relatives had been bickering in Marcel's office for hours until security showed
them out.
Marcel was beyond annoyed.
He never imagined these people could turn their backs faster than flipping a page in a book. Those who were once excessively flattering and eager to please him were now the same ones making his life difficult!
Zella knew Marcel was in a tight spot. She walked in with lunch, set down the thermos, and came up behind him. "Everyone's talking about the company. Maybel should chat with my dad?" she offered.
Though the Andersons weren't filthy rich, they were family after all, and they couldn't just stand by and watch him fall.
The scent of Zella calmed Marcel's rage as he took her hands and placed them on his temples, "My head is pounding."
Zella massaged his head with practiced ease, alleviating his pain.
Marcel had been burning the candle at both ends, channeling all his energy into the company. But no matter how much money he poured into the project, there was no return-just a bottomless pit of expenses. After half an hour of massage, Marcel felt much better. "Don't get involved in this."
"Marcel..."
"Even though you're the Anderson heiress, you're not blood. He might look after you, but he won't lift a finger now," he said with a cold finality.
Zella bit her lip, "Then what's your plan?"
"If I end up with nothing..."
"I'll be with you," Zella interrupted, squatting down and leaning on his legs. "You know I'll never leave you."

Chapter 868
Marcel was stunned for a moment by her words.
Would she really never leave him?
He reached out, tenderly touching her face, a rare display of affection.
"I'll transfer all my assets to you. Take care of our child."
Zella couldn't bear such talk, "Don't worry, we'll figure something out."
Even if they lost Grandeur Capital, they had enough savings for a decent life.
"Mr. Salter, the Salter family is getting antsy."
Isaac had been waiting for this day for a long time.
"Keep the pressure on."
"Yes, sir."
After Nathan left, Isaac sent a message to Brittany to confirm she was working late. He clocked out early and headed for the daycare. Daniel ran out excited, but his smile faded the instant he saw Isaac.
"Daddy, why are you here? Where's Mommy?"
"Mommy's working late," Isaac explained as he hoisted Daniel into the car. "Buckle up, son. We're going to see Mommy."
At the mention of seeing Mommy, Daniel immediately perked up and nodded.
As Isaac opened the driver's door, about to get in, a sweet voice called out.
"Mr. Salter."
"Ms. "Hana, what brings you here?" Daniel exclaimed.
"Ms. Hana," Isaac greeted her coolly, "Is there something you need?"
Hana pulled out a sheet of A4 paper from her briefcase, "Mr. Salter, Daniel will be graduating to elementary school soon. Here's the list of materials he'll need for direct
admission."
Isaac took the paper, planning to delegate the task to Nathan. "Alright."
Then, Isaac got into the car. "Goodbye, Ms. Haha."
"Goodbye." Hana watched the sleek car drive away, her eyes filled with admiration and affection.
