Chapter 384

"What's impossible? How would you know if you don't give it a shot?" Elisa said. "Ms. Lindberg is Carter's darling. She may not be Miranda's biological daughter, but she's adored in the Lindberg family. Our two families have always cooperated well. If we can form a mamage alliance, that would be great. If you really don't like her, I won't force you, but at least you should meet her once, right?"

"Alright, 111 go with you tomorrow" Nicholas couldn't stand his mothers nagging anymore.

As he watched Elisa go downstairs, a thought suddenly popped into his head. "Mom."

Elisa stopped and turned to look at him. "What's up, son?"

"Mom, I've been having frequent headaches and memory confusion lately. I keep having flashes of unfamiliar fragments. When I try to recall them, I get headaches and can't remember. Mom, can you tell me what I was like before?"

Elisa's expression changed slightly. But soon, she regained her calm. 'Of course you were just like you are now. If you can't remember, don't force yourself. I'll take you to see a doctor tomorrow"

Elisa returned to the second floor where she and Jaiden lived. When she entered the bedroom, Jaiden had just come back from his study. Elisa said worriedly, "Jaiden, I'm worried about Nicholas. I'm afraid he'll remember those unpleasant things."

Jaiden held her hand. "Didn't the doctor say he wouldn't remember those things again?"

Elisa shook her head. "I don't know. Those things are over and our son is back, but it seems like he's starting to remember."

Jaiden was silent for a moment. "We'll ask the doctor tomorrow" He patted Elisa's shoulder. "Okay, don't worry."

Nicholas changed his clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower. While taking a shower, he looked at his muscular body in the mirror. He turned around to look at the scar on his back. He frowned. This scar, why was it in the same place as the birthmark Allison described?

Allison...

Thinking of Allison, a smile appeared on Nicholas' lips. She was an interesting girl.

She bothered him, but he didn't dislike her. Instead, he found her amusing. He felt a sense of familiarity with her, which felt strange.

when he was sober.

-He tried to recall many times, but he couldn't remember anything. Did he really know Allison before?

He took out his phone and dialed a number "Hey, Bradley, help me look into something"

Allison didn't wake up until the next morning and found that her phone battery was dead. She didn't charge it after she got home from the cinema last night. After replaceing the charger, she charged her phone and then went to wash up. Then, she saw three missed calls on her phone, all from Lucian.

He replied to her message.

She sat on the edge of the bed, checking her phone.

"Sorry, I had something to do last night, so I got there late."

Allison smiled slightly. So this man could say "sorry" too. She casually threw her phone aside, not caring if the charging cable was unplugged. After a few minutes, she felt her mood ease a bit and started to charge her phone again. She thought carefully, but still didn't know how to reply.

She knew clearly that he was with Penelope last night. What could she reply?

Her heart started to feel all jumbled up, and she decided to ignore it.

She didn't have a night shift last night, so she got up very early in the morning. It wasn't even eight o'clock when she finished breakfast. Allison look Grace to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor on duty was Dr. Dylan. Allison handed him the medical records. Dr. Dylan -nodded, "Now all your mother's data is normal."

Allison finally relaxed.

As she was about to leave the consulting room, Dr. Dylan stopped her, "Wait a minute-
