Chapter 482

Why didn't she become the golden daughter-in-law of the Lindberg family, instead of hanging around with a butler's son?

Charlie regretted his crappy decision of choosing Penelope. She remembered Patty's high and mighty attitude at Epic Entertainment and sighed. From day one at Epic Entertainment, it was nothing but a tug- of-war with Patty. She never thought she would end up losing. How could she take this lying down?

She was about to delete the video on his phone, then her finger paused. Delete it? Nah, better keep it. This video might come in handy someday. Charlie quickly made a backup and kept it in her phone. The Flanagan family.

Christopher Flanagan's car pulled up. He strode into the living room and looked around, "Where's Allison?"

Wasn't Allison supposed to be here?

In the living room, Leah sat on the sofa, sipping her coffee, and disdainfully told the maid, 'Throw away the cup that little bitch used. It makes me sick." Christopher glanced at Leah, his brow furrowed. Seemed like Allison had come and gone.

Leah looked at Christopher, then she suddenly realized that he came home during work because of Allison. She became more shrill, "You guys better clean up fast and disinfect this place. Grace is sick, and her daughter carries the same germs. Don't let them infect our house. Disinfect everything."

Linda and Hattie were cleaning up, while Christopher looked at Leah and simply sighed. Ever since Penelope got out of the hospital, he had made an agreement with Leah, to put up with anything for their daughter. He actually didn't want to stay in this house anymore. Leah was becoming more and more unreasonable.

Christopher went upstairs to his study, not uttering a single word to Leah since he came back.

Seeing Christopher go upstairs, Leah stomped her foot in frustration. She vented her anger on the maids, "You useless/bunch! How could you be so slow! What do you do with the salaries I pay you?" She yelled at Margo, "If these two can't get their act together, call the housekeeping company and get two competent ones."

Leah was pissed, and Margo, fearing for herself, quickly nodded in agreement.

After cooling down a bit on the couch, Leah asked, "Where's Penelope?"

Margo didn't know either. She looked around, then passed the buck to Hattie, "Hattie, you helped Ms. Penelope downstairs, right? Did you see where Ms. Penelope went?"

Hattie's voice trembled as she feared Leah's wrath, "I did help Ms. Penelope downstairs. Ms. Penelope said she was going to the greenhouse."

But nobody was in the greenhouse. The mansion wasn't that big, and they had looked everywhere.

Leah stood up, "Search again. Ms. Penelope has mobility issues, you need to take good care of her.”

Margo quickly nodded in agreement.

Leah grabbed her purse, ready to go play poker. She didn't want to be at home, fighting with Christopher. Even though she could be temperamental, she knew that the people in charge of the household was Christopher. If she really pissed him off, she would be the one to suffer.

However, something suddenly came to her. Leah coldly swept her gaze around, "Who told Mr. Flanagan? Tell me."

None of the servants dared to step forward.

Margo seized this opportunity and said, "So someone did tattletale to Mr. Flanagan. wondered why Mr. Flanagan suddenly came back? You guys are not satisfied with your high wages?"

Leah left Margo to deal with this issue while she left to play cards. Margo sat on the sofa, acting like she owned the place.
