The kids squealed and played by the lake shore, splashing water at each other and laughing.Elijah and Alex were jumping around with them and I chuckled over their antics.

George was sitting down on the boulder beside me.

“There's this thing I've been thinking about lately” He said hesitantly.

I looked at him.

“What?”

George shrugged.

“I was just wondering, those months you spent as a Rogue on your own, Why did you come thisway? Is it a coincidence that you just happened to stumble into the territory of yourneighbouring pack?” He asked.

I leaned my head on his shoulder.

“No it's not a coincidence.” I admitted. “I stayed outside the border, but I just hoped that Icould catch a glimpse of you. Just to know that you made it out of Red Ridge and that you wereokay. There was no way I could even try to settle down somewhere before I was sure that youwere okay."

George hugged me.

I smiled and we silently watched the kids play by the lake.

It was in the middle of the summer and we were by the lake in the Blue Eclipse territory. I smiled and took out the pregnancy test that I had taken this morning.

Happiness.

That was the only way to describe my life.

After everything that happened, I learned to seize every moment, because you don't reallyknow if it could be your last.
