Kieran squinted and asked, "Where did you get those pajamas?"

"Mr. Sutton, are you asking me to go out like this?"

Freya's clothes had become wrinkled and disheveled from the turmoil of the previous night.

Seeing this, Kieran casually tossed a white button-down shirt to Freya.

Grasping the shirt, Freya headed to the bathroom.

Once the bathroom door closed, its frosted glass casting a silhouette of Freya's graceful figure, Kieran felt a spark reignite within him.

Soon, the sound of running water echoed from the bathroom. Kieran tried to keep his cool, but the noise kept distracting him.

When Freya emerged from the bathroom, she saw Kieran lounging on the sofa, absorbed in the newspaper.

"I used up all your shower gel. Should I buy you a new one?" she joked.

"I'm not petty enough to quibble over a bottle of shower gel," Kieran replied while standing up. Turning around, he saw Freya in his shirt, which barely covered her, revealing her straight, slender legs.

Kieran's gaze traveled up from those legs to her slightly damp hair draped over one shoulder and the exposed collarbone due to the loose fit of the shirt. He realized he had never noticed how stunning Freya was. "Mr. Sutton, shall we go downstairs?" Freya asked, eager to return home.

She needed to let Audrey know about their situation from the previous night so she could smoothly head back home.

Sensing Freya's haste to leave, Kieran couldn't help but retort sarcastically, "You seem in a rush to get away."

"Mr. Sutton, do you prefer to keep me confined here?" Freya shot back before heading downstairs. As she passed by, Kieran caught the shower gel's scent on Freya, the

same fragrance he used.

The intimate moment made Kieran pause, and it was only when Freya asked, "Mr. Sutton, are we going or not?" did he snap back to reality.

Seeing Freya open the bedroom door, Kieran finally said, "All right, let's go."

Kieran felt uneasy and tried to look away from Freya's legs, but his eyes kept getting drawn back to them. He

had seen Freya in skirts before?

but

this time it felt different somehow.

Downstairs, Eloise was lounging on the couch.

As she puzzled over Audrey's intentions, Audrey suddenly looked up with a smile. "Freya, Kieran, come quick. We have guests."

At her words, Eloise was shocked.

She looked up to see Kieran and Freya descending the stairs, one after the other. Kieran was in a bathrobe, and Freya was wearing his shirt. This sight made Eloise stand up abruptly, her eyes welling with tears. "You... you two..."

Noticing Eloise, Kieran's expression changed.

Audrey smiled and said, "What's the matter, Ms. Harwood? Freya and Kieran are engaged, after all. It's only normal for them to live together, right?" Kieran frowned, his face darkening. "Grandma!"

"Freya, thank goodness for you.

Otherwise, I would have thought this

boy had no interest in women," Audrey joked, causing Freya to

frown and Kieran to fix a scrutinizing gaze on her, "You?"
