Leopold stumbled out of bed, with Kevin immediately rushing to his aid. “Mr. Leopold, you'reawake!”

He looked around, seeking the figure he desperately yearned for, but the room was empty, filledonly with a deathly silence.

“Where's Aurelia? Where is she?”

Kevin lowered his head, “The search team is still... looking for her.”

The storm last night had made the search difficult. Even if they found her, it would likely just be herremains.

Leopold refused to believe it. He couldn't accept such a possibility. Aurelia was alive, his Aureliamust be alive!

He staggered up from the floor, ready to rush out, but Kevin held him back, “We caught thekidnappers hiding on the island. They're from an organization called Night Devil. According to them,we rushed to the small island where they kept the kid, but... Liam was taken away.”

Hatred filled Leopold's eyes, “Destroy this organization, not a single one of them should escape!” heground out through gritted teeth.

Each day that followed, he spent searching for Aurelia.

He searched hundreds of miles of sea and islands, dived to the deepest parts of the ocean that werebeyond human limits, questioned every passing ship... but all to no avail. Kevin knew, he wasbreaking down, he couldn't let him continue this way.

“Mr. Leopold, we found a piece of human tissue under a coral reef. DNA tests confirmed it's yourwife's. She's really gone, you need to accept the truth!”

Leopold couldn't accept it, his vision turned black and he coughed up a mouthful of blood,collapsing to the ground.

Aurelia had no funeral, because Leopold wouldn't agree. He would never accept the truth. HisAurelia wasn't dead, she was just missing! She was the wily Aurelia, how could she be dead?

He left people on Eldoria to continue the search for her and Liam. He believed that one day, hewould replace them.

A sales report came from Astral Enterprises. “Destiny’ had reached unprecedented sales, beating allcompetitors.

Aurelia had won!

Leopold held a celebration for her. This was his first public appearance three months after returninghome.

Without Aurelia, he was like a stove without fire, a walking corpse without a soul. His eyes lackedlight, his face lacked spirit, his heart was empty.

“Today's celebration is for Aurelia. She is not only Astral Enterprises’ most brilliant designer, but alsomy wife!”

The room erupted in shock, causing an earthquake of reactions. Everyone was dumbfounded!

"Oh my God, Aurelia was the boss’ wife!”

“So Aurelia was the real Madame?”

"So Aurelia’s child is the boss"?"

"Of course, he’s the future prince.”

“So what's Evelyn?”

"A mistress, obviously! This must be a complex storyline.”

“Darcy was so smart that supported the right person. We really couldn't see the subtle relationshipbetween Aurelia and the boss.”

The crowd murmured softly. Many had already imagined a dramatic scene.

Leopold choked up, then continued, “For certain reasons, I didn't announce our relationship, andAurelia got a little upset and hid, waiting for me to replace her. Ill replace her, bring her back to me, backto Astral Enterprises.”

He had already decided, if she didn't return, when Kane grew up, he would go replace her, no matterwhat it took!

Evelyn didn't attend the celebration. She would never imagine that the person she didn't care abouthad taken the throne she had longed for. Wasn't Leopold supposed to marry her? How did he endup marrying Aurelia?

She was not willing to accept it, and she had to replace out the truth.
