A sharp pang coursed through Aurelia’s heart. There's no way she could have contracted thesuperbug from the Amazon rainforest without reason, so there was only one possible explanation;someone had poisoned her, aimed to assassinate her.

The first person that came to her mind was Megan. No one else would be so desperate to see herdead.
