Chapter 482

With a furrowed brow, Leopold vented, “Quit beating around the bush. How did you meet thisguy?”

Aurelia, of course, wouldn't spill the beans. She put on a nonchalant face and retorted, “Rich menlike you have young, pretty mistresses. Now that we women have financial freedom, is it too muchto chat up a hot lad?”

Leopold didn’t buy her reasoning. “You've already lost interest in Elvis?”

“It's different,” she shrugged, “He's a cute, obedient boy who does nothing but replace ways to cheerme up. He listens to my every word, something you high and mighty tycoons can't do.”

A spark ignited in Leopold's eyes, “Are you trying to get back at me?”

She didn't answer immediately. She took a sip of her juice and casually asked, “What's the differencebetween being a queen and a king's wife?”

“What do you think?” His voice was laced with a dark undertone.

She smirked, “The life of a king's wife is in the hands of the king. She has to be virtuous andtolerant, always trying to please the king, or else she risks being deposed. A queen, on the otherhand, holds her life in her own hands. She's surrounded by admirers and can do whatever shepleases. That's probably why I am not satisfied with being your wife.”

She paused, her smile deepening, “So, I think having a group of boys to please me is better thanbeing your wife.”

Leopold glared at her, his eyes sharp as arrows, trying to penetrate her facade and unravel hermotives.

“I warned you not to associate with any man. Don't tempt my patience.”

If she was trying to rile him up, then she succeeded, because he was absolutely livid.

Aurelia instinctively looked down, her long lashes shielding her sparkling eyes, afraid they mightgive her away.

He could be a tyrant, but he couldn't play both sides.

Why was it that he could have his fun, but she had to be a saint? She was no longer his wife.

Mr. Leopold, we're divorced now. I'm single. Do you understand? I can do whatever I want, and youhave no say over it.”

The muscles around Leopold's mouth tightened, and he clenched his teeth, trying to control hisanger.

She was going to be the death

"Why can't you just behave yourself? Do you really want to worry me to death? Will that make youhappy?”

Aurelia scoffed, “You're not the sun, why should I revolve around you? Even if you were, I've alreadybroken free from your orbit. I'm a rogue planet now.”

He abruptly pulled her into his arms, causing her to lose balance.

“You'll always be in my orbit, and you can't escape. If you dare to contact that guy again, I'll castratehim.” His threat was as cold as ice, enough to freeze the sun. Aurelia felt a cold chill.

He was a demon, a tyrant!

She was irked, “I'm not good at many things, but I do have guts. I'm not afraid of your threats. Ifyou're going to play dirty, don’t blame me for doing the same. You've been warned.”

He leaned in, his handsome face inches from hers, his eyes bore into hers. But he didn't erupt inanger, instead, he wore a mocking smile, “Are you trying to make me stay faithful? You've really puta lot of thought into this.”

He almost forgot she was cunning. Her thought process was far from ordinary, so he couldn't judgeher by normal standards.
