Chapter 484

Aurelia slipped into her cabin, firmly locking the door behind her.

Jimmy pinged her on WhatsApp once more, “Madam, did you just block me?”

“No, it was an accident,” she responded, a bit too quickly.

"Good, you had me scared. Thought you didn't like me anymore.”

Aurelia's eyes twinkled with mischief, “This month, I've gotten you. Does that mean you won't haveto go to the Twilight Club?”

“I still have to work. I either perform on stage or bartend. Kerry only stops by on weekends, so it'susually just Mickey and me taking turns behind the counter. Everyone loves my cocktails.”Aurelia’s eyes lit up, “When are you bartending next? I'll bring the girls over for a taste of your bestmix.”

“Sure thing, these days, I'm always at the bar. Feel free to come by anytime.”

"OK."

Aurelia peeled a clementine, mulling things over before dialing Leah.

"Hey, do you have access to any high-tech gadgets?”

Leah was at her private base. Avery's new show just wrapped up, so she was on a break

too.

"Don’t worry, Aurelia, I got this,” she reassured her.

After hanging up, she quickly relayed instructions via WhatsApp.

Abe walked over, holding a milkshake, “Boss, your favorite strawberry milkshake.”

Leah took a spoonful, “Yummy!”

The taste was absolutely divine. Once she started, she couldn't stop.

"Abe, am I getting too chubby?”

Abe shook his head fervently, “No way, boss. Real beauty is in the curves. Those skinny girls arenothing but bones, and they have no appeal.”

Leah sighed, her gaze dropping.

The entertainment industry was full of skinny women, every actress thinner than the last. Averywould inevitably compare her to them.

As a foodie, joy comes from delicious food. Dleting would only depress her. Thinking about this, shetook a big sip from her milkshake, comforting herself.

Only food could cure a thousand woes.

The night sea was like a sleeping child, calm and serene. The moonlight cast a shimmer

on the water.

On the top deck of the yacht, the most advanced stargazing equipment was set up.

The kids were busy observing the night sky through their telescopes.

“I found the hiding place of the Trisolarans, Alpha Centauri!” William exclaimed excitedly.

As a sci-fi enthusiast, his greatest dream was to build a faster-than-light spaceship to explore theuniverse.

“Let me see.” Aurelia peered curiously into the telescope. She'd been reading The Three-BodyProblem lately.

“Too bad we can only see Rigil Kentaurus. If we were in the southern hemisphere, we could see theentire constellation of Centaurus.” William expressed regretfully.

Aurelia chuckled, “Maybe there's extraterrestrial life there.”

William blinked his thick lashes, stating solemnly, “Even if there is alien life, it doesn’t mean theircivilization is more advanced than ours. Who knows, they may be the turkeys.” “Good point.”Aurelia nodded in agreement.

Kane was observing the Orion Nebula through his telescope.

“Mom, do you want to see the Orion Nebula?”

“I'd love to.” Aurelia peeked into the telescope, “Wow, that's beautiful.”

The red nebula looked like a ball of fire, or perhaps a flaming phoenix soaring through the sky."Mommy, do you know the precise coordinates of Earth in the universe?” William asked.

Aurelia shook her head.

William, an eyebrow raised in challenge, recited, “Laniakea Supercluster — Virgo Supercluster — LocalGroup — Milky Way — Orion Arm — Gould Belt — Local Bubble — Local Interstellar Cloud — Oort Cloud— Solar System — Third planet — Earth.”

Aurelia laughed and patted his head, “We better not broadcast our coordinates, lest we get hit by adimension reduction attack from an advanced civilization.”

She chatted and laughed with her kids, completely ignoring Leopold sitting alone on the edge ofthe deck.
