The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold) -
Chapter 494
Chapter 494
As for Kane, he didn't share this worry. He never made the first move with girls he didn’t know. Justlike his father, he was aloof in his blood. He was a cold fish with his
demeanor screaming silently, “Keep your distance!”
After Avery wrapped up his afternoon performance, they all decided to grab some grub at a localdiner.
Later, William returned home with Arnold. He was excited to see his dad's photographs. and hearstories about his adventures in the desert.
Aurelia headed back to Blossom Villa. Her mind was overwhelmed with the issue of the AK Group.Did Leopold know anything about it?
Just then, her phone rang. It was Leopold.
“I'm outside. Come out.”
It was perfect timing as she was already planning to talk to him. She threw on a jacket and hurriedlyslipped out, quickly getting into his car.
Leopold pressed a button, and the car interior turned into a secluded space.
With a swift move, he pulled her close, his lips crashing onto hers unexpectedly.
Aurelia gasped, realizing he was acting more impulsively than usual, not even bothering withformalities.
Their relationship was starting to feel like a forbidden affair. She turned her head away and gentlypushed him back. “I need to talk to you.”
"Can't it wait?" he groaned, it had been a week since they made out last time, and his hormoneswere bubbling up like lava at the mouth of a volcano, ready to erupt.
Aurelia shot him an annoyed glance. “You're too lustful, just like your father. You should try torestrain yourself a bit.”
“I only have you. What's there to worry about?”
Aurelia rolled her eyes. Was she really his only woman? She doubted it.
Men sometimes falter when it comes to keeping their urges in check, let alone someone geneticallypredisposed like him.
“I have something important to say. I mean it.”
Leopold looked at her deeply before releasing her. “What is it?”
“Do you know about the AK Group in Verdecalma?” she asked quietly.
His handsome face tensed up at her question. “How did you know about it?"

His reaction confirmed her suspicion. He knew about it, too
“I have my sources.”
Leopold carefully pinched her cheek.
“I've warned you to stay away from it. Why didn't you listen?”
“I don't want to sit and do nothing.”
Aurelia bit her lip. She didn't want anything to happen to him, either.
"Megan might have joined the organization six years ago. She's been trying to stay close to you, probably to harm you.”
“Aurelia!” Leopold gripped her shoulder, his expression serious. “As long as you're safe, I am safe, too.”
Aurelia felt a mix of emotions. He was supposed to be wary of Megan, right? But she couldn't helpbut worry. After all, she knew her enemy's face, but they didn't know hers.
“I thought the leader of the AK Group might be from the Stirling family, trying to take control. Butafter discussing it with Arnold, we don't think it could be any of your brothers. Maybe it's Mr. Chad'ssecret illegitimate son.
Leopold's eyes flickered in the twilight, making him look even more mysterious.
“Do you trust Arnold that much to tell him everything?”
She looked at him sternly. “Arnold helped me replace this information. I know you two were majorrivals back then, but I don't think he’s ever tried to really hurt you. That's why he’s still around evenafter you took control. Otherwise, you would've kicked him out of Elysium long ago!”
Given his cold nature, he was the type to hold grudges and never let his enemies off the
hook.
Leopold fell silent for a moment before lifting her chin. “Do you know me that well?”
“Not really, but I can still analyze situations objectively.”
She gave him a knowing smile. His cunning and deep nature made him hard to read.
She swallowed hard and continued, “Even though I said your brothers are unlikely suspects, youstill can't let your guard down. Also, did you know your father might have an illegitimate son outthere?”
