She wanted safety for her children, for Leopold, and herself.

She hoped Leopold and Kane would be fine and Avery would be safe.

She hoped to eradicate the root of the trouble as soon as possible so she could eliminate futuretroubles.

Beverley wrapped an arm around her shoulder. The entire Stirling family was aware of Melissa'sprevious actions.

“Melissa is just too extreme. She's stuck in a rut and refuses to come out. But you don't need toworry. Jessica has decided to arrange a marriage for her.”

Aurelia was slightly shocked, “Would she comply with her personality?”

“Every daughter of the Stirling family eventually gets married off. Her three older sisters all havearranged marriages. If her father hadn't died before he could arrange her marriage, she wouldn'thave been able to live such a carefree life.”

Beverley sighed. “I'll be in the same situation in the future.”

Aurelia patted her shoulder in comfort. “Your cousin is a reasonable man. He won't force you.”
