Charles was a student he had personally mentored, and he trusted both his knowledge andcharacter.

The reason he felt secure entrusting Noelle to Charles was partly due to Charles’s status.

Marrying Charles meant Noelle would have a strong support system, ensuring she would be welltaken care of even after he was gone. He believed Charles would look after Noelle very well.

Sebastian thought about this as he took a book from the shelf, which held a photograph. The picturehad aged, showing a young, vibrant girl in a floral dress, her smile radiant as her dress fluttered inthe wind.

Sebastian touched the girl’s face in the photo, tears streaming down his cheeks.

As she stood by the door, May saw Sebastian and sighed. After a while, she knocked and entered.“Sir, it’s time for your medicine and rest.”

Sebastian came back to reality, placing the photo back in the book and wiping away his tears.“Alright.”

After leaving the cinema, Noelle and Charles felt a bit reluctant for the evening to end. Noelle askedwhile holding onto Charles‘ arm, “Where are we going next?”

“How about a walk?” Charles naturally held Noelle’s hand, looking down at her with his soft,twinkling eyes. He gently pinched her cheek. “Hmm?”

His voice was clear and gentle, different from when Noelle first met him and unlike his demeanor atRoyal Star Entertainment. His voice always carried a hint of tenderness when he was with her.

Noelle touched the cheek Charles had just pinched, snuggling her head against his shoulder. “Sure.I ate too much popcorn. I feel stuffed!” Laughing, she looked up at him. “It’s your fault for constantlyfeeding me.

“I was worried you weren’t eating enough!” Charles‘ eyes were full of affection as he pinched hercheek again. “You’re too skinny!”

Noelle argued, “That’s impossible! I’ve gained a lot of weight.” She patted her face and pinched theflesh on her arm. “We should get a scale at home. I really have gained weight since we gotmarried!”

She puffed out her cheeks. Then, as if struck by a sudden thought, she stood on her tiptoes topinch- Charles‘ cheeks.

Charles patiently stopped and even bent down slightly, bringing his face closer to Noelle, allowingher hands to explore his face.

Noelle seemed addicted to pinching his face, her hands roaming happily over it.

Charles fully cooperated, showing no sign of impatience. Instead, his eyes were filled withamusement.

Passersby couldn’t help but stop and watch the striking couple. Some girls exclaimed, “Oh my God,that guy is so handsome, and he looks at his girlfriend so tenderly.”

“I know! I want a boyfriend like that too!”
