The Cherished Wife (Noelle and Charles) -
Chapter 529
"Yes, I look forward to working together." Charles glanced down and called Noelle. "Haven't found it yet?"
"Found it! We're just waiting for it to be delivered. How's it going on your end? By the way, it's getting late. Should we take them to the hotel first, or should we grab something to eat?"
Noelle considered that they had been on a long flight and might be tired and hungry, especially after lingering at the airport for so long.
"Come back first, and we'll figure it out. Becky should've already booked the hotel. I'll get the address from her in a bit."
Charles ended the call and turned to George. "My wife said your luggage was found and will be brought over soon!"
"Oh, that's great news." George finally relaxed, but then he asked, "Charles, when did you get married? There was no news at all!"
"Not too long ago." When Charles spoke about Noelle, his expression softened, and there was a warmth in his eyes. George noticed and nodded knowingly. "Seems like you've found the one meant for you!" "Yes, she's the one I've been looking for!" Charles admitted without hesitation. "She's amazing, and meeting her has been the luckiest thing in my life!"
"Really? So, Charles Hoffman has finally fallen in love. Your wife seems beautiful and gracious."
"Thank you."
As they chatted, Noelle returned, pulling a small suitcase beside her-the very item George had been worried about.
George quickly stood up. "Thank you so much, Mrs. Hoffman." He added, "This is my baby."
"You're welcome!" Noelle smiled modestly. "Charlie, how's the hotel arrangement going?"
"Becky has already sent the address. Let's go."
Charles and his group first went to the hotel to settle George's accommodation before heading out for dinner.
They chose to dine at Bamboo Grove House. Noelle had researched George beforehand and knew he was fond of Westel culture, particularly its ancient architecture and cuisine. Every time George visited Westel, he made it a point to explore and taste the local delicacies.
Though they had not prepared extensively, it was still adequate.
Charles had even booked the best private room. When the manager saw Charles, he rushed over to greet him, "Mr. Hoffman, is this a distinguished guest?"
Charles shot the manager a sidelong glance, as if to say, "Are you blind?"
The manager was flustered and wiped his sweat. When Noelle caught Charles' demeanor, she could not resist rolling her eyes at him discreetly.
She then turned to the manager and said, "Prepare some signature dishes that best represent Westel cuisine. Make sure to use the
freshest ingredients.n't
to be a lot, just make it good
"Yes, ma'am." The manager did not know who Noelle was, but her little gesture just now did not escape him. Anyone who could make such expressions at someone as important as Charles was clearly not an ordinary person, so he treated Noelle with the utmost respect.
After giving instructions, Noelle turned to Charles. "You don't have to be so serious all the time."
Charles smirked. "Whatever you say."
Considering that George and Dani were tired, the meal was kept simple Charles also drove them
back afterward. "Mr. Click, please rest well. We'll discuss the specifics once you're settled in."
"Oh, and we've arranged a driver for you. He'll be ready tomorrow, so feel free to explore any part of Brookville that you'd like," said Noelle.
