-Sir, Demian Morgan has ambushed us and taken out most of the men.

-How is that possible? -On the other end of the line, the man was heard pounding something loudly. The man making the call was shaking with fear. -He just appeared out of nowhere, and then that girl also ended the lives of the rest of the men.

-And what the hell were they all doing there? They said everything was under control, they're completely useless. They don't know how to do anything right. -I'm so sorry sir.

-Damn them, get on with the plan and I hope they don't screw it up.

He hangs up the call feeling disappointed in the quality of work his men were doing. They were all cowards and idiots. -Damn...

Before dawn Demian leaves his room, leaving his wife asleep, he makes his way to the basement of the house. As soon as he descends a few steps he replaces the four guys who were barely alive, but there was also someone else down there with them. -Reece, what are you doing here?

-I knew you would come down, father, to interrogate these guys, I was curious to hear what they had to say.

-You should be taking care of your wife, isn't she in her last days of pregnancy?

-No, she's still 3 months away," The boy smiles as he stands up, "Let's see what these guys have to say," The boy comments as he clenches his fists while looking at the cell. -It should be interesting!

Demian and Reece look at the cell where the four guys were handcuffed on the floor, they looked up to observe the two Morgans who were not taking their eyes off him. And judging by the look on the captured guys' faces, the Morgans knew they wouldn't talk just like that.

-I don't think they're going to be very cooperative.

-It looks that way," Demian replies, opening the gate. But we'll make them talk, and they'll tell us absolutely everything they know.

Violet opens her eyes as she feels a few rays of sunlight on her face, frowns slightly as the heat invades her body. She moved to the side of the bed looking for some comfort when she suddenly realised that she had more freedom than usual, she sat up a little to see her hands which were free of the handcuffs. He was surprised that he was free. She sat up in bed, noticing that she was all alone in the room.

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee reached her nostrils causing violet's mouth to water. The young girl stands up being guided by that incredible smell, as soon as she gets to the kitchen she stumbles upon a scene that she had never in her life imagined to see. Dylan was making coffee that morning, dressed in a pair of trousers and showing off his broad, tattooed back.

-It's strange to see a teacher with so many tattoos.

-You'd be surprised what you see at universities," he replies, still turning his back to him.

-Did you let me go this morning?

-I did it in the early hours of the morning, while you were sleeping. I'm not a caveman.

-Sometimes you look like one to me," he replies, sitting down at the breakfast island. Where did you get coffee? I thought there was nothing in this place.

-There's a warehouse downstairs full of food.

-Really? -He frowns, wondering who filled it. That house was disabled.

-It doesn't look like you're aware of your family's movements.

Dylan turns away, leaving a steaming cup of coffee on the counter, along with a plate of a rather impromptu breakfast. She looks at the food feeling surprised by the attention, an assassin wouldn't do a thing like that.

-Eat! You're going home today and I'm going home, if I have one. I also want to go back to my job, I can't be hiding from your father. You and I don't have anything for him to want to kill me for.

-Go back? You're crazy, my father will hunt you down until the end of time.

-Then I'll face him. -I won't let him threaten my life over a foolish thing. -Silly? -I'm silly to you?

-Violet, please.

She looks at him in such a defiant way, it was so irritating that she looked at him that way but she also found it so erotic and sensual. She was so... Damn! He had to control himself. -Don't tell me, it's because of that damn woman," she stands up to face him.

-We can't have absolutely nothing. And that's more than obvious.

-No! What's obvious here is that you want to get rid of me just because you're engaged to that wretch. Have you told her what happened between us? The times you've touched me? -That's not the point, the only thing that matters here is that you go back to your family. I thought about it a lot last night and I think it's for the best.

-For who?

She was so furious with that man, because he didn't speak to her clearly. Was it so difficult to tell her that he didn't want her by his side because he loved that tramp? She regretted a thousand times that she hadn't put a f*****g bullet in his head. Now it turned out that he was being a complete nuisance.

-I don't want to talk about this any more, I've already made up my mind so let's have breakfast and leave," he finishes speaking and leaves the kitchen.

-It's strange to see a teacher with silly tots.

-You'd be surprised what you see in universities," he replied, giving him the cold shoulder.

-Did you do all this for me?

-Then I'll face him, I'm not going to let him hurt my life for a fool's sake. -Nonsense?

-Foolish? I am a fool for you?

-Violet, of course.

-No! What's obvious here is that you want to get rid of me just because you're engaged or something. Have you told him what happened between us? The times you've touched me? -That's not the point, here the only thing that matters is that you come back to your fiancé. I thought about it a lot last night and I think it's for the best.

-But who?

I was so angry with that man, because I didn't give him chlorine. Is it so hard to tell him that I didn't love him or his mud because I didn't love him or that I didn't love him? It's just that he repented a thousand times for not having put a damn bolo in his mouth. Now it turned out that I was being a complete nuisance.

-I don't want to go on with this, I've made a decision, so we'll stop listening and we'll leave -I'll finish cooking it.

Violet clenches her jaw tightly, makes her hands into a fist and bangs the table. Dylan was such a domineering guy, things always had to be done the way he said and it pissed her off. She was a Morgan, and it didn't seem to intimidate her, it was strange that she wasn't afraid of her father. Who was Dylan? He wasn't like any other guy she'd ever met.

-Hell..." He mumbled, staring at the coffee cup. "I'll have to replace ways to keep him here until I figure out how to solve this problem.

Daniels yawned as he stretched his body in the cramped space of the car, every bone in his tired old body aching. It was hard to spend the night in his car, with the cold, the hunger and the aches and pains. -Damn you, Demian, you're going to pay for this," he said, getting out of the car to stretch his body.

Suddenly he heard the engine of another car, he ran to the jeep and took out his rifle. He hid in the front of the jeep and pointed it in the direction of the road, he wasn't expecting visitors so early in the morning so surely they weren't friends. He loaded the gun and looked through the peephole, he wasn't going to let them go another mile... then he caught a glimpse of the approaching car and it was when he lowered the gun that he came out of his hiding place and waited patiently for the jeep to finish climbing the steep hill. -Your face stinks," Liam got out of the car and took off his jacket, "You shouldn't be doing this, I think Demian will blow you up.

-What are you doing here? I hope you're my replacement, because I'm not spending another goddamn night in this place.

-Yeah, let's just say I've come to take your place. I'm younger." He shrugs his shoulders, "I'll tell you! -He smiles, looking the rest of the way.

-You're an idiot... you're not a quarter of what I am," he pats his shoulder. I hope you've got guns, because I'm not leaving you mine. I'll take your car since you left it in the way, what did Demian say?

-For the moment he doesn't want to intervene with these two, right now he's torturing to death the guys we caught, we have to wait a little longer.

-All right, I'm out of here. I want to see my wife to make love to her.

-Can you still? -He laughs with amusement.

-Don't look for me to leave Lucia without a husband. -Bye!

-Samantha has sent you something to eat.

After Liam got his things out of the car for the night on the mountain, Daniels drove off, leaving the boy alone. He had a long day ahead of him, patrolling the whole place wouldn't be easy, and even less so with so many movement sensors that would make his presence evident.
