Daniels' plane was being shot at non-stop, he couldn't replace a way out to get to Violet and Gaston. The explosion of the car was so close to them that I suspect they were seriously injured. I looked out the window of the plane, glimpsing the guy reloading the bazooka and pointing it right at the plane. -Oh no, shit! -Risking a bullet, he jumps out of the plane, turns the plane around, feeling some bullets graze over his head.

And that's when a huge explosion came from behind him, the wave of the blast sending him a few kilometres away from the plane. The impact of the blow against the pavement was painful, because he felt as if his brain was shaking. For a couple of minutes he lay still, his face and his whole body hurt like hell, but he needed to get to his feet to help his family.

-Damn these assholes," he shouted, leaving his weight on the palms of his hands, spitting saliva which was completely red.

Something warm ran down his face which crossed the middle of his eye, with the back of his hand he wiped it off and then looked in the direction where Violeta and Gaston were. And that's when he noticed something disturbing from afar.

[...]

A van slammed on the brakes near the explosion of the van, some guys got out and surrounded Violeta's body, not even paying attention to Gastón. Between two sturdy guys, they took the body of the brunette and put it in the boot of the car. -Let's go now, there's nothing left here," whispers the person on the passenger's side.

-He lost a lot of blood, he's going to die.

-What a pity.

-It's not what we were ordered to do.

-Well, hurry up and get that wound taken care of.

The whole scene was observed by Daniels, who was having trouble standing up, but his vision was blurred and the incessant pain in his head prevented him from thinking clearly.

-Violet.

His body slumped limply to the ground, he pulled his mobile phone out of his pocket and dialed Reece's number, allowing the call to ring as he lost consciousness.

Reece arrived at the hospital where Liam was, his sister greeted him with a hug. He looked at the convalescent and noticed that he was looking better. At that moment his phone started to ring, when he saw the screen he frowned, his uncle shouldn't be calling him if he was supposed to be on the air at that hour. -Uncle, what's wrong? -He answers coming out of Liam's room.

But no one speaks, the call was open. He immediately reaches for his tracker to locate Daniels' plane. Reece's alarms went off when he couldn't replace the device, he ran down the hospital hallway leaving his family in charge with the guards.

Quickly, he jumped into his car to head to the airport. He called out to a group of guards he would meet there, accelerated the car eating all the red lights... every time he approached the airport he could hear the bustle of ambulances and fire engines, the clouds in the sky were painted a piercing black and the smell of burning permeated the air.

He braked the car inside the airport, the police immediately swooped down on him like flies to try to get him out, but when they saw who it was they moved aside. Reece ran towards the crash site and noticed that the firemen were trying to extinguish the van, on the other side he watched as they pulled a charred body out of what was left of the plane and that's when his heart stopped. It was difficult for a Morgan to feel fear, but at that moment he was feeling it.

He slowly approached where the paramedics were putting the charred body in a black bag and it was out of the corner of his eye that he noticed that someone was being carried on a stretcher. Instinct made him run to the ambulance to see that it was his uncle Daniels.

-Uncle! -He exclaims with relief, but at the same time with concern.

-He's all right, he's got a few bruises that left him innocent.

-No other survivors?

-Inside the ambulance there's another guy, no one else.

-But the one in the plane...

-He was male, burnt to death, or so we think... -We have to wait for the autopsy.

-Man? -Where's the girl? Grab the stretcher-bearer by the shirt.

-There was no woman, Mr. Morgan.

Reece's breathing became heavy, where the hell was his sister? Who did all this? They'd been ambushed, there was only one person who could do all that.

-That bastard Dylan. Take them to my father's private clinic," he ordered the para-medic, at which point his guards arrived. Escort the ambulance, if anyone approaches suspiciously they'll kill him. -Yes, sir.

Reece watched as the ambulance left with his family in it, then looked at the airport control tower. He heads towards that place, the security cameras had to have recorded absolutely everything... as he reviewed the cameras he noticed the most important thing, the disappearance of his sister. -They took her away! -he whispers.

He immediately takes out his mobile phone and dials his father's number, he was relieved that his sister was alive, but for how long?

[...]

Her body moved from side to side, and with each movement she felt more pain. Violet slowly opened her eyes, noticing that she was in the back of a car. Everything was dark, the only thing she could make out was when the car's lights came on. Underneath her body she could feel a certain dampness, suspecting it was her own blood. And judging by the weakness he felt at that moment his suspicions were right, he was in serious trouble.

Suddenly the car stopped abruptly and out of nowhere the boot was opened, she saw the guy's face but did not recognise him. Perhaps he was just a pawn.

-Ah, the little princess is awake. It will be more fun that way.

Violet is taken out of the car with very little tact, and instead of her body being carried the subject dragged her along the ground. The young brunette tried not to forget the guy's face, because when she had the chance she would rip his balls off. -Here it is, heal that damn wound as soon as possible.

-It will take time, it's deep and dirty.

-I said as soon as possible." The guy pulls out a gun and points it at the other guy.

Violet managed to look sideways at the guy who would help her with the leg, realizing that he was a damn veterinarian.

-Do your job, doctor.

-I'm not a human doctor, I'm an animal doctor.

-Easy Doc. You can take this young lady as a cute little puppy, but aggressive," he mocks under Violet's nose.

Which prompts the brunette to smack the idiot's face with her own face, which causes her own nose to bleed, but at least the guy's was broken too.

-The man slaps Violet in the face and then points the gun at her.

-If you've brought her here, it's to cure her, not to kill her," the doctor said.

The man seems to come to his senses, puts the gun down and smiles as his nose bleeds. He puts the gun away and then looks at the doctor.

-You have half an hour to cure this bitch.

The idiot walks away leaving the doctor alone with Violet, the boy looks down to watch the brunette wiping his nose.

-Are you going to help me, or are you going to let me bleed to death?

-Maybe these guys will kill you.

He bends down and takes Violet in his arms to lift her onto the metal bed which was freezing cold, as the brunette gasps as she feels the cold on the few parts of her naked body. -I'll kill them first.

-Anyway, let's cure that leg.

After the leg was no longer bleeding, the doctor provided Violet with a jumper and overalls. It was too big for her, but at least it would protect her from the cold.

-Will he be killed?

-I don't think so.

-I need that scalpel.

-Miss...

-Give it to me. -She looks at him sternly.

The doctor holds it out to her and she keeps it in a place she hoped they wouldn't check. She hoped she could get away before they took her away from Oregon.
