Competing against someone who had trained for years was not a wise move for Melody. Even if she intended to use winning the competition to suppress them, it seemed a bit reckless.

Dancing was Carmen's forte, and she arrogantly lifted her chin. "Let's use last week's dance routine. That way, you can't say I'm bullying you. We both do the dance at the same time, and everyone can judge for themselves who's the better dancer. It won't take much of your time, so what do you think, Miss Big Movie Star?"

Melody nodded and began to warm up. She was already familiar with the dance she did the previous week. Since Carmen was not convinced, she was determined to dance until Carmen acknowledged her skill.

The praises from various teachers echoed in her mind. She wondered what others' reactions would be when they saw her dance.

Before the competition started, Melody told the teacher to ask Lucas not to worry as she might be home late that day.

"You don't have to take on this challenge. You know, even if you win this competition, they still won't respect you." The teacher looked worried as Melody handed her her coat. After all, she was Lucas' wife, and it would be hard to explain if something went wrong.

What Melody did not know was that when she first joined this dance studio, Lucas had already become the actual controlling shareholder of the company through investment. Thus, that made her the boss of the dance studio.

The teacher looked at Melody with concern, but Melody herself did not feel much. She just smiled faintly and said, "Miss, do you think I can't win the competition?"

The teacher shook her head firmly in response. "Of course not! Dancing not only requires training but also talent and expressiveness, and you excel in all aspects. I'm just worried about how it'll end if things ge out of hand."

In fact, it was common for dancers to challenge each other. It was just that the day's situation was more unique than usual.

Carmen was indeed very proud of herself. She had already been training in the dance studio for two hours before Melody arrived, so naturally, she was more agile than Melody.

Melody ignored Carmen's taunting look and quietly warmed up. When she effortlessly performed a split, many people around exclaimed in surprise. Some had thought that Melody was all talk, but it seemed she had some real skills after all.

Carmen sneered, dismissing Melody's split as nothing special. She could not understand why everyone was making such a fuss over it. After all, performing a split was just a basic skill that every dancer should have.

It was only because Melody was a big celebrity that her actions seemed more impressive. Despite starting her career as an actress, her effortless split was still surprising. Not every dancer had such flexibility and grace. Many skilled dancers could perform such movements due to the way their bones were structured.

When it was announced that there would be a showdown between Melody and Carmen, students from other classrooms also came out to watch. A group of people gathered in a bustling circle, with Carmen and Melody at the center. Even as Melody stood facing Carmen, the teacher still hesitated, wanting to advise her not to continue.
