The police officer then turned around and looked sternly at Corinne. “Miss Corinne, what do you haveto say for yourself?”

Corinne’s expression remained relaxed. She did not say

anything, though her lips were twitching. ‘My, my. Looks like they had pulled out all the big guns onframing me. First, that devious Lucas asked me all those seemingly–irrelevant
