Corinne smiled too. “Well, you should eat more to celebrate. The food won’t be as nice once

it’s cold.”

“I’ll be even happier if you can call me Jason.”

Jason chuckled. He knew it would not be that easy for him to change her mind. He then dug in on thefood on his plate and the two of them changed the topic to something a little less
