Chapter 10 -10-

"What do you want?" I sharply replied when someone so rudely shoved me out of my comfortablebed. It was one of those annoying guards the Alpha put up. It was only ten am for Pete's sake.

"The Alpha ordered me to guide you to breakfast, he wants to talk to you.” The armored man grufflysaid and I grew even more irritated. What kind of a wake-up pill did he take? We slept at three inthe morning and he managed to wake up at ten am, who does that?

"Well, tell your Alpha to shove it." I hotly replied and went back to my bed and into the soft pillows.The guard attempted some more until he gave up and reported to the Alpha, who barged into myroom.

"Destalia, wake the fuck up and stop being a child." The Alpha roared at me, carrying me out of thevery comfortable bed. The guards seemed scared of him when he was angry at me, they quicklywent back to their positions in front of my room.

"You're being a child, I don't want to eat, I want to sleep.” I groaned and he glanced at me inamusement before getting back to his stony expression.

"I'm going to drop you in a cold bath if you don't open your eyes." He warned and I grunted,muttering a string of curses under my breath, that Alpha was sure as stubborn and angry all thetime.

"I'm awake, ugh.” I opened my eyes at his flawless face and blinked to get rid of the sleepy haze Iwas so blissfully in.

His arms were soft around my body as he carried me downstairs in only my silk short nightdress andI gasped, he stared down at the bare area above my breasts with dark lust in his eyes.

"Hey, eyes up here." I snapped my finger but the mixed excitement in my chest said otherwise, Lacekept dropping sexual hints inside my mind and I was blushing furiously.

He smirked when he felt my wolf stirred in dirty thoughts and gave me a peck on the side of mymouth, making my heart almost escape out of my ribcage. That jerk knew what effect he had on meand took that to his advantage as his hands lingered on the small of my back when he dropped megently to walk to the dining room.

I pulled my body away from his touch and he rolled his eyes at my antics, I was not going tosurrender that easily. He was so irritating with his mood switches.

He can use his very irritating skills in bed with us. I shivered at Lace's dirty thoughts at imaginingthat. I was definitely not having a threesome with my wolf, me and my mate.

"As I told you before, the war is going to happen today so I expect you to be in the safe house withother women and children.” I forgot about that for a moment. The dread crept up my skin like asecond coat and the fear of losing my mate was getting harder on me since I just found out a fewdays ago.

"Are you going to be okay out there?" He seemed a bit surprised at the caring tone of my voicesince he was so used to me defying him and making him angry all the time. He sat down in front ofme in the dining hall, the long table separating us.

His eyes gleamed at me when he said, "babe, I am the Alpha of the most fatal pack ever existed, Iwill be more than okay." His smugness made me scoff like I expected him to say that and he smiledgenuinely at me.

I picked at the hash browns in front of me when the silence engulfed us both. I had to dosomething about the war between my ex-pack and this pack, I needed to make the Alpha's packtrust me and there was only one way to do that.

Stopping this war that was bound to happen.

Although Alpha Raden made it clear that he wouldn't stop the battle, I had other plans to make him.We finished and he stepped closer to me when we were going to go separate ways, he held both ofmy hand and gave me a hug. Surprisingly, I enjoyed feeling his hard body against mine and hisstrong arms embracing me while his hands twirled my hair around my waist.

"I will miss your scent, as much as I want to stay here with you, I can't because there will betraining.” My eyes widened in excitement at the mention of training and my wolf seemed very muchup to it. He seemed to turn into a soft-hearted mate, like the one I wished him to be so I took mychance.

"Please, can I come?" I said against his neck as he hugged me tighter, his scent was very calming.He hesitated at first when he peered down at my pleading face, I didn't like being kept alone in aroom, I was desperate to go out and explore. He saw that and nodded, I jumped, wrapping my legsaround his waist

"Thank you, thank you." I kept repeating that as I smothered him with pecks all over his face as hesmiled and laughed.

I was going to train today to be the toughest she-wolf out there and a faithful Luna. I wouldn't letanyone stop me.

I would even tear the busty girl who dared to scream at me out of my room apart.

I needed to replace out what she meant to him so much that he had to defend her in every argumentwe had. I felt like I will know all of the unsolved mysteries the deadly Alpha hid and I would takeadvantage of that until he confessed who was she.
