Lumi's strength was nothing compared to Samuel's.

Samuel did not notice that Lumi's face was turning white. His reason had long been overwhelmed with rage, and his gaze was ruthless and dark.

"Tell me! What do you want me to do for you to forgive me? You really are a spoiled young lady who isn't as obedient as your sister. Lumi, you succeeded!" Lumi could not help but tilt her head back and cough.

It was as if his force was dragging her into hell.

The next second, the bathroom door suddenly opened.

lan went over with a sullen face and pushed Samuel away.

Samuel did not expect that the person inside would dare to interfere. He stumbled backward from the force.

When Samuel saw the person who pushed him, his face darkened.

Samuel's eyes were viciously bloodthirsty.

Without hesitation, Samuel raised his fist toward lan.

However, the guilt that lan felt earlier was swept away. Ian suddenly twisted Samuel's arm and slammed him against the wall.

lan grew up learning kickboxing with Nicole. Although he was lazy, he still had some martial arts skills.

Samuel's face turned gloomier since he lost to lan.

Just when Samuel was about to retaliate, he heard Lumi coughing and dry heaving as she covered her neck uncomfortably.

The two men's attention was instantly attracted to her.

Samuel suddenly remembered that he had strangled Lumi. The fingerprint marks on Lumi's bruised and delicate neck were the result of his actions. His expression immediately turned guilty and sorrowful.

Samuel walked up to Lumi, wanting to check on her, but Lumi took a step back in fright.

Samuel's gaze looked torn as he trembled and wanted to speak.

He withdrew his hand.

His tone was extremely dull as he said,

Come here. We need to talk..."

lan stood in front of Lumi and let out a light laugh.

"Mr. Lindstrom, you don't look like you're here to talk to her since you attacked her as soon as you met. What an eye-opener!'

"Our relationship has nothing to do with you, lan Carter! I'll definitely settle the score with you later!"

Samuel gritted his teeth

This was the first time in his life that Samuel was so angry.

His lungs felt like they were about to explode.

Samuel never thought that the person in Lumi's room would be lan Carter.

If it was an ordinary man, Samuel could have easily dealt with him.

However, lan Carter was the treasure of Carter Corporation, so touching him would be very tricky.

She sneered and said, "How can it have nothing to do with him? Samuel, once we're divorced, lan will be my future husband. I don't want to put up with you for a moment longer. You can either go to the City Hall with me now. Or, I'll tell the media that I cheated on you, and you're a domestic abuser. We can just lose our reputation altogether!"

Samuel was completely shocked by her words.

Lumi wanted to put her reputation on the line just to ruin this marriage?

The air was frozen.

Samuel's eyes were permeating with coldness as he stared at her with a deadly gaze.

The three of them stood there, and no one spoke first.

No one broke this silence.

Finally, the two bodyguards at the door sensed that something was wrong.

One of them came forward.

"Mr. Lindstrom, there's a reporter here..."

If the reporter came in, they would not be able to cover this up anymore.

This was also good.

Samuel looked at Lumi with such complicated emotions surging in his chest.

He was obviously just looking for a pretty marriage partner, so why would he have such deep feelings for her?
