The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric)
Chapter 1959 How Dare You Fight Back

Although Nicole knew where Clayton was staying in Liberty, it seemed a little too abrupt if she went there.

Moreover, she was unclear about the current situation. What if there was a trap there?

She was not too impulsive and knew to think about it.

Thinking about it, Nicole took a taxi.

"ST Corporation, please."

It would take too long to wait for Grant's driver to come over now.

Thus, Nicole went straight to the office.

Perhaps then she could meet some acquaintances who were working overtime. The light was dim at night, so she could not see the taxi driver's face. However, she was vigilant enough to take note of the license plate number.

Nicole vaguely remembered the road to SF Corporation.

Seeing that the car was indeed going in the right direction, she was secretly relieved.

She was assured, so she looked down at her phone and sent Grant a message.

Nicole asked Grant to give her two extra days. She would leave Liberty in at most three days.

Grant was probably still angry because he refused to reply.

The taxi drove to the bottom of a bridge, so there were a few seconds of darkness.

Nicole subconsciously raised her head.

In an instant, the car shook. She suddenly felt another car hitting the front passenger seat

The taxi spun sideways immediately and lost control for a few seconds before the engine died.

Nicole was thrown to the side because of the impact. She finally sat firmly.

In the next second, she felt a chill on her face.

Nicole reached out to block it, but everything was blurry in the dark space.

She could not replace a focal point.

Suddenly, a cold needle pierced through her skin.

Her chest sank and she instantly knew that she was in trouble.

Nicole wanted to open the door and escape, but before she could reach the handle, the door was opened from the outside.

Her consciousness gradually blurred, and her mind was dizzy.

In her last moment of consciousness, Nicole heard a man's voice and a shrill laugh.

"Ms. Stanton, welcome to Liberty!"

Nicole fell into a coma before she could see what that person looked like.

She somewhat regretted not letting Grant send someone to pick her up.

Clayton did not answer his phone earlier. Was he also in danger?

It seemed that Liberty was not at all peaceful.

A huge Libertian villa.

When Nicole opened her eyes, she saw the unfamiliar environment, :e#

The last scene before she blacked out instantly came to mind.

The feeling of danger approaching made her shudder.

Nicole sat up abruptly. Her head felt very heavy like it was filled with cement.

This room was not big. It did not have a window, and it seemed like a utility room, but there was a bed inside.

It also smelled musty.

Although Nicole felt uncomfortable, she could not care less.

She reached out to feel her body. Unsurprisingly, her phone was gone.

Her expression changed dramatically. She endured her body's discomfort and got out of bed.

Perhaps they were worried about her running away because her shoes were missing.

Just before she got to the door, she suddenly saw the door handle moving. Someone was opening the door from the outside. Nicole raised her eyes slightly.

Seeing the oncoming person, Nicole narrowed her eyes slightly.

"Ingrid?!"

Nicole was in shock.

Ingrid was decked out in jewelry. She was even more extravagant than before when she was the arrogant Miss Ferguson.

The forbearance and introversion that Ingrid had when she was punished by Eric to be a shoe salesperson completely disappeared.

Ingrid raised her eyebrows slightly as she looked at Nicole, who fell into her hands, with a somewhat frivolous and charming gaze.

"I didn't expect that you'd still remember me. When I was sent out of Mediania, I was thinking how I can torture you if you somehow fall into my hands one day..."

Ingrid's voice was cold. There was a hint of restraint and joy in her eyes.

Nicole stood there silently with a slightly pale face, but her eyes remained calm.

"What do you want?"

"What do I want? Aren't you afraid? Or do you think that my brother will come to save you again?"

Ingrid chuckled lightly and looked at Nicole with ridicule.

However, seeing that Nicole had no reaction, Ingrid felt annoyed.

Was this how Nicole should act when she was at someone else's mercy?

"Stop dreaming! My brother's people won't be able to replace this place."

Ingrid smiled smugly.

Nicole pursed her lips.

If the person who kidnapped her was Ingrid, then it was not so bad.

Once Nicole lost contact with her family.

Grant and Clayton would definitely start looking for her.

It would not be long before she would be rescued.

At that thought, Nicole secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Ingrid suddenly stepped forward. She had a bit of menace in her eyes.

"The Stanton family won't be able to replace you either."

Nicole raised her eyebrows.

"Ms. Ferguson, the relationship between me and your brother has long been over. I don't have much contact with your family either. You know who I am, so if something happens to me, I'm afraid that you won't be much better off."

Ingrid's expression turned glum.

"Heh... Do you still think that I'm the same old Ingrid?"

Nicole was taken aback.

Suddenly, she recalled something that Grant had investigated.

Ingrid seemed to be following someone now.

"You..."

The corner of Ingrid's lips twitched. She took a baseball bat from a corner and weighed it in her hand.

Then, Ingrid slowly approached Nicole.

Nicole's eyes turned dark.

Facing off Ingrid alone did not seem to be a problem, but how many people were out there?

Ingrid said, "I'll show you how powerful I am first. Nicole Stanton, you made me leave Mediania. Do you know how much I hate you?"

She clenched her teeth as she said the last sentence.

Nicole's eyes flickered. Just when Ingrid raised her baseball bat high to hit Nicole, Nicole suddenly reached out to grab Ingrid's wrist.

Nicole bent Ingrid's wrist backward so hard that the sound of bones dislocating could be heard.

Although Nicole felt unwell, she was strong enough to deal with a minion like Ingrid.

Ingrid's face instantly paled.

"How dare you fight back?!"

Ingrid looked at Nicole in disbelief.

Nicole's eyes were calm and indifferent. "Or else? Should I wait for you to hit me? Or do you want me to beg you to let me go? Will you even let me go?"

There was a coldness in her tone.

Ingrid was panting, and the emotions in her eyes completely collapsed.

With her other hand, Ingrid pushed Nicole away fiercely.

"You b*tch! You're in my hands now! I'll never let you go. I'll make you pay a thousand times what I've suffered!"

As she said that, Ingrid raised the bat in her hand hysterically.

In the next second, the door was suddenly pushed open.

"Stop!"

A rough and cold voice yelled.

It sounded unfamiliar and dangerous.

Nicole looked over.

An unattractive middle-aged man walked in with a hint of impatience in his eyes.

He glanced at Ingrid before looking at Nicole.

The man nodded and smiled with a bit of coldness.

"Ms. Stanton, you must be frightened. You can stay with me at ease and wait for someone to pick you up."

Before Nicole could speak, Ingrid hurriedly clutched her wrist and objected.

"We spent so much effort to catch her, yet you want to let her go? I absolutely won't agree to this! I want her to pay for what she's done to me and torture her every day!" The corners of the man's mouth twitched. His eyes were dull.

"Ms. Ferguson, this is my territory, so I have the final say. Tyler asked me to take care of you. He didn't say that you can order me around."
