Angie's happy expression instantly disappeared.

Eric's attitude was as cold and indifferent as ever, like he could not tolerate her.

Angie stood on the opposite side. She slowly pulled out a smile on her face.

"Eric, I rescued them. You can't accuse me like that."

Eric snorted coldly.

Quinn paused, then stood up.

"Eric, what Angie said is true. Your sister and I were almost killed by Falcon in Liberty. If it weren't for Angie, I wouldn't have been safe."

Eric's eyes were cold and harsh. "The people I sent to search for you didn't replace anything. If you are really safe, why didn't you contact me?"

His eyes were filled with anger.

Quinn was speechless for a while.

Angie explained in a gentle voice. "That's because it's inconvenient. If she contacts you, my brother will definitely notice. How will she get to see you then?" "Is it going smoothly now?"

Eric asked. Angie's face was as dark as ink.

"Where's my sister?"

Angie's eyes flickered, and she lowered her eyes to look at Quinn.

Eric tilted his head to look at Quinn." Where's Ingrid?"

He asked again.

Quinn took a deep breath.

"Ingrid went to Tyler. I persuaded her not to, but she didn't listen. She didn't want to come with us no matter what, so we had no choice but to let her go to Tyler." Eric's face instantly turned red with anger.

Angie smiled. "Don't worry. My brother will take good care of her."

Eric obviously did not believe Angie, but he was speechless for a while.

He glanced to the back, and the people on Eric's boat jumped straight onto Angie's boat.

They were ready to take Quinn and Nicole away.

However, Angle's bodyguards took a step forward and blocked the two women.

"Angie, what are you doing?"

Eric gritted his teeth.

Angie smiled and tilted her head to look at him.

"Although I don't have any mal intentions, I can't just be a good person for nothing. I told you before you came here that I have my conditions."

Eric stared at her for a few seconds. His eyes were deep and dark.

"Say it."

Angie lowered her eyes, regained her emotions, =g*?UMR< said, "I want you to announce to the public that Chance is your son, take him back to Ferguson family, and take good care of him." "Impossible.' Eric refused with a grim expression.

He swept a glance around with cold eyes.

"I won't recognize someone else's son. I don't care who the father of your child is, but don't try to put this on me! I won't accept him!"

Angie suppressed the emotions on her face. She felt aggrieved and angry.

"He's your son! Why don't you believe it?!"

Eric looked at her indifferently and mockingly. To him, Angie was not an innocent woman who would be loyal to one partner.

He was not surprised that she would get pregnant with someone else's child and put the blame on him.

How could Angie stay calm in the face of such humiliation?

Her eyes were red. She vented all those emotions that she accumulated at once.

Angie pointed to Nicole, who was sitting there.

"I know. You don't care whether my child is yours or not. What you care about is the woman who gave birth to that child. If it was her, you wouldn't doubt it at all, right? Or perhaps even if you knew her child wasn't yours, you'd still happily recognize it as your own, huh?"

Nicole sat up straight. Her body was extremely tense.

She was quite worried that Angie and Eric would have a fallout. If they could not agree on this, could Nicole still go back?

Angie could not think straight when it came to love. Was it that important to her for Eric to like her back?

Why did Angie have to be so insistent on Eric?

Eric was silent for a few seconds. His eyes were dark like ink as he stared at Angie.

"Anyway, it won't be you."

Angie froze. She already knew the answer, but when she heard him say it out loud, she still felt heartbroken and uncomfortable.

Quinn saw that something was wrong with the two of them. She probably thought the same as Nicole.

Thus, she quickly stood up.

"Eric, Angie is so sincere to you. I've seen that child. He really looks like you. The baby you saw before had dark skin because he was too young. He's much fairer now..."

Eric obviously did not want to listen to them.

Angie took a deep breath and took a long time to calm down.

"Forget it. I don't care whether you believe it or not. Do a paternity test or just put up with it. Anyway, you must recognize Chance as your son."

Eric looked irritated.

His dark eyes were cold and stern.

"What if I don't?"

Angie smiled cruelly.

"Do you think you can take them away? Or, if I tell my brother, will he let you take them away smoothly?"

Eric fell silent.

Angie chuckled. "The news of my disappearance delayed my brother. That's the opportunity I left for you."

She said the last sentence with purpose.

Eric's face trembled slightly. He suddenly looked up at her with sharp eyes.

Then, the sharpness disappeared.

Eric narrowed his eyes and gauged how much Angie knew.

She also looked at him.

They were staring at each other in a silent battle.

Eric gritted his teeth. His eyes trembled, but his voice was steady as he said, "Fine, I promise."

He loosened his collar and looked indifferent. "Let them go."

Eric did not care whether the child was his or not, but he knew that he did not expect to have this child. Even if it was his, he would not like it.

Angie forced him to take the child, so who knew what she was up to?

There was a moment of silence.

Angie smiled and pointed to the two people behind her.

"You can choose one."

After she said that, the air instantly turned stagnant and cold.

Eric looked at her fiercely. "What did you say?"

Angie was a little apprehensive, but she could not wait to see how he would choose

"One child in exchange for one person. I'll only release them both if you have another child with me, but that'll take some time!'

It felt wrong and eerily quiet. Only the whistling of the wind could be heard.

Nicole felt the blood all over her body turn cold.

She did not expect Angie to have this idea.

Angie wanted to prove that the most important person in Eric's heart was not Nicole. She wanted to force Eric to admit that he did not love Nicole that much.

But why did she have to use this way?

Nicole's heart kept sinking.

Was this even an option?

His mother and his ex-wife - which one would Eric choose?

The answer was already clear.

Eric looked at Angie indifferently. His face was tense and glum.

Angie smiled and looked at Eric.

"Don't worry, just choose one. No matter who it is, I'll give the other person to my brother, and I won't hurt them."

Nicole glanced at Angie.

Angie promised not to hurt her, but what was the difference if Angie handed her over to Tyler, who would torture her to death?

Nicole's and Quinn's expressions changed slightly.

Quinn could not help but look at Eric eagerly.

"Why are you hesitating? How could you hesitate when I gave birth to you? Who's more important to you, me or that woman? If she dies, so be it! She's a scourge anyway!"
