The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric) -
Chapter 2025 He Recognized Her
Chatty did not cry. She struggled to get up from the ground and wanted to drag the beautiful little boy up. However, the little boy's hands were wounded. Even so, the boy remained silent.
When Levi ran over, he patted the dirt from Chatty's skirt before he looked at the boy opposite them.
"I'm sorry, my little sister didn't bump into you on purpose. She's young and doesn't know anything. Are you okay?"
Levi helped the little boy across from him.
The little boy looked very beautiful like he had a mixed heritage. He was fair, gentle, and very introverted.
He looked at Levi and then at Chatty, then pursed his lips.
That soft little girl looked so beautiful and delicate, like a cute little princess.
The boy could not help but take a few more glances at Chatty.
He nodded his head.
Then, he casually rubbed his wounded hand on his body and turned to leave.
Levi took the boy's hand.
"You're injured. Shall I ask my daddy to help you?"
The little boy shook his head and withdrew his hand.
Levi thought that the boy could not speak because of the pain, so he pulled the boy's arm and did not let him go.
He anxiously looked at Chatty and said,
Chatty, follow me."
Levi took the boy to the fountain in the center of the garden.
The small, delicate, and beautiful fountain was trickling with water and formed a shallow puddle on the ground. Chatty came over and looked at it with bright eyes.
Levi went to the water's edge to help the little boy wash his hands before drying the boy's hands with his handkerchief.
He apologized to the boy solemnly.
"I'm sorry. My sister still doesn't know how to apologize yet, so I'll say it for her."
The little boy stared at Levi for a while, then shook his head.
He seemed to be saying that it did not matter.
However, Levi could not understand it, so he anxiously wanted to explain it to the boy.
The boy took out a pen and paper from his pocket and slowly wrote, "It's okay."
Levi was a little stunned.
The boy did not speak but could write. It was not because he did not forgive them, but because he had a speech disability.
However, Aida taught Levi to be polite to others.
Levi smiled >a$>QJY> took the little boy's hand.
"What's your name? My name is Levi. We'll be schoolmates from now on!"
The little boy's eyes lit up. He lowered his head shyly to write his name on the paper and showed it to Levi.
Chance Ferguson.
Levi said softly.
If it was not for the fact that Levi was surrounded by numerous tutors since he was young, he would not necessarily know so many letters.
Levi smiled. "Then we're friends now!"
They went straight from being classmates to friends.
Chance was clearly delighted.
Chatty already sat on the steps next to the fountain and happily played with the water.
Levi also did not forget to introduce the little girl.
"That's my little cousin, Chatty!"
Chance nodded, walked over, and sat next to Chatty, looking at her without blinking.
Chatty was so cute and pretty. Chance has
never seen such a beautiful little girl.
Levi sat on the other side of Chatty and helped her to hold up her wet skirt.
Chatty looked at Chance with a smile. Her eyes were curved like the crescent moon when she smiled. She touched his face, but Chance did not dare to move.
She wanted to kiss Chance, but Levi stopped her in time and explained patiently, "Chatty, Chance is not your daddy! Don't kiss the wrong person!"
Grant and the others finished talking. In the blink of an eye, the children were out of sight.
Clayton frowned and stood up to look in the direction of the flower bed.
The principal quickly reassured them.
"They might have gone to play in the water.
That small fountain is very interesting. We found a world-renowned designer to design it, and all the students love it..."
Before the principal finished speaking, Clayton impatiently got up to look for Chatty.
Grant clicked his tongue from behind and looked at Nicole.
"You should just tie Chatty to him. He can't bear to send Chatty to school, and can't even bear to part with her for a few minutes Nicole scoffed. "Big Brother, this is the normal reaction that fathers should have!"
Grant choked.
Aida snorted lightly from the side, looked at Grant indifferently, and silently complained about her dissatisfaction.
Grant smiled faintly and did not speak.
Nicole raised her eyes and saw Clayton's anxious steps as he walked around a few times.
She frowned slightly and stood up.
"Ill go over and take a look too."
Perhaps it was because Nicole had encountered too many dangers before which gave her lingering fears, she suddenly thought of the worst scenario.
She did not know if Clayton also had the same thoughts as her.
As soon as she got close, she heard Clayton's gentle voice.
"Princess Chatty, your dress is all wet now. Did you have fun?"
Nicole breathed a sigh of relief and walked
over.
The scenery in the middle of the garden was very unique. At a glance, she could tell that it was carefully designed. It was like a maze, but it was very fascinating. The sound of the water trickling on the ground from the small fountain was very soothing.
It was an S-shaped small fountain that was not very deep. It would only form a thin layer of water when the water lands on the ground before it seeps into the cracks. Chatty was surrounded by two little boys and looked very happy.
Clayton squatted down and squeezed the water out of her skirt before picking her up.
"Happy?"
Chatty repeated with a serious face,"
Happy?"
"Happy!"
Clayton was amused.
He casually held Levi's hand and looked at the boy on the other side.
The moment Clayton saw the boy, he froze and stared at him.
His smile also faded.
Nicole went up to them and laughed.
"Chatty really can't go to school like this. She should stay at home for a few more years."
In an instant, a smile appeared on Clayton's face.
He looked back at Nicole with warm eyes and smiled casually.
'You're right.
Nicole stretched out her hands wanting to carry Chatty, but Clayton stopped her.
"Her dress is wet, so you shouldn't carry her lest your clothes get dirty."
Nicole raised her eyebrows and withdrew her hands.
Well, what he said made sense.
Nicole looked down at the little boy who looked familiar, but she could not tell where she had seen him before.
She knew that she had never seen this boy before.
The little boy looked at Nicole for a while.
It seemed like he recognized Nicole.
Clayton coughed heavily, and Chance immediately withdrew his gaze. The little boy seemed to stand there with avoidance.
Levi took Chance's hand and said, "Auntie, this is our new friend. He also likes Chatty!"
Nicole smiled. "Really? Our little Leaf made friends so soon? Congratulations!"
Clayton glanced at Chance with an inexplicable look.
The corners of his mouth were curled up, but his smile did not reach his eyes.
He looked cold and aloof when he looked at
Chance.
Clayton took Nicole's hand.
"Okay, let's go first. Chatty's dress is wet, so she'll catch a cold."
Nicole immediately nodded.
She smiled at Chance, then held Levi's hand to leave as well.
The students who could attend this school had wealthy backgrounds. Perhaps Chance was a child from an affluent family that they knew.
Nicole did not think much about it and turned around to walk out.
When Clayton turned around, his face sank a little.
