Julie nodded knowingly.

"No wonder."

Nicole smiled. She could only say this in front of outsiders.

"I just met Shane, the guy from Erethea. He's doing a photoshoot for a magazine. Do you know about this?"

Clayton was silent for a few seconds before he replied, "That's his new job. What's wrong?"

Nicole said, "Well... Something happened..."

She briefly told Clayton about what happened earlier.

Clayton was silent for a moment.

Nicole breathed a sigh of relief.

Clayton kept quiet before he spoke again in a gentle tone.

Nicole planned to go back after having dinner with Julie.

Shane nodded and looked at Nicole respectfully.

"Madam, you should leave first. Don't let anyone see that we know each other."

Nicole was stunned, but she still nodded and left.

She did not expect Shane to think so much. It made her feel embarrassed.
