Julie could hear the sarcasm in Nicole's words. She felt embarrassed and winked at Nicole to hint at her.

For Julie's sake, Nicole stopped talking so that it would be less awkward.

However, Cheryl realized that she had been rude as she heard the dissatisfaction in Nicole's words. Cheryl smiled. "I'm sorry, it's just a subconscious reaction. Please don't take it to heart, Ms. Stanton."

She took out her business card and introduced herself seriously.

"Although I've just returned to Mediania, I've already registered with HY Law Firm. You can come to me any time if you need anything."

Nicole raised her eyebrows. There was nothing wrong with Cheryl's appearance.

Nicole took over Cheryl's business card with both hands, glanced at it, and smiled.

"Sure! HY is the best law firm in Atlanta, so they're sure to hire the best lawyers to guarantee our basic rights..."

Julie quickly echoed. "Right? Ms. Lichman won the grand prize of the debate competition abroad. She's an excellent lawyer. We're lucky to be able to invite her to the crew this time." Nicole and Julie looked at each other and smiled, tacitly understanding each other's inner thoughts.

Cheryl accepted the crew's job and came to the hot springs for a social engagement.

Julie was thoughtful and quick-witted, so Cheryl was comfortable with her.

Cheryl had a good impression of Julie and stayed back to chat with her.

"I'll send you back then."

Julie took her car keys.

Cheryl refused with a smile.

"No need. My driver will come to pick me up. You can continue to have fun."

After speaking, Cheryl looked at Nicole for a moment, nodded, and turned to leave. Julie grew up in the elite circle, so she knew that a young lady like Cheryl who had a little family background and had just entered the workforce would have a temper.

Julie did not insist and stood there with Nicole to watch Cheryl leave.

Julie took a deep breath and put her arm around Nicole's neck.

Nicole laughed. The two of them fooled around, attracting the attention of many people.

Cheryl only remembered to call the driver to pick her up when she walked to the entrance.

It was quite cold while she waited for the driver outside, but she did not want to go back in.

Cheryl knew very well that she did not care to be acquainted with Nicole, so she did not want to have more dealings with her.

She could hear the laughter inside, which she felt was ear-piercing.

Thus, Cheryl rejected Gerard's offer to replace her a connection.

The driver arrived after 20 minutes and apologized repeatedly.

"I'm really sorry, Miss. I was late because Mr. Eichman asked me to drop off a client at the last minute..."

Cheryl nodded without saying anything and got into the car.

She did not say a word even when she was shivering from the cold.

The driver noticed Cheryl's gloomy face and did not dare to say another word. He called Gerard when he got into the car.

"Mr. Eichman, yes, I've already picked up Ms. Eichman."

Nicole and Julie spoke for a while, but Nicole felt that they had more to say.

Thus, Nicole invited Julie to her private room and wanted to send Clayton home to accompany Chatty.

Julie pointed to her phone and said," Please, I have a night life. Since I don't have business here, I'll just head home."

Nicole raised her eyebrows. "Is my third brother coming to pick you up?"

"Kai is now our crew's consultant, so he's been very busy. He's probably working overtime."

Julie shrugged her shoulders and felt helpless.

Nicole sent her to the door and said," Yvette is arriving the day after tomorrow. Let's go pick her up together?"

"Sure. Contact me then."

Nicole waved her hand. Julie's car was parked not far away.

Thus, Nicole did not wait for Julie and turned around to go back to her private room.

It was quiet inside besides the gurgling sound of water.

"Hubby?"

No one answered, so Nicole thought that she came to the wrong room.
