The Deserted Rich Beauty (Nicole and eric)
Chapter 2542 Broke up for Three Months

Selena did not know if she would have such a good opportunity in the future.

She hurriedly caught up to Harvey and said excitedly and politely, "Will you give me an autograph first?"

Harvey froze for a moment. Then, he smiled with squinted eyes and nodded.

He took out the pen he carried with him and gestured.

Selena paused. She suddenly realized that she did not have any paper, so she looked at her white skirt with pity and stepped forward.

"Sign this. I'll keep this skirt!"

Harvey nodded politely, lowered his head, and signed his name on her white skirt.

Selena smiled in satisfaction.

The elevator arrived and the doors opened slowly.

Harvey put the cap on the pen, stood upright, and smiled.

"Let's meet again next time. Julie gave me your phone number because I wanted to ask you to do a cameo in a movie."

"Me? You're too kind. It'll be my pleasure!"

Selena said excitedly. It was a rare opportunity to be able to appear on the same screen as her idol.

Harvey waved his hand and walked into the elevator with a smile.

Selena looked over and saw another man standing in the elevator. The man's gaze was icy.

Eric looked at Selena with dark eyes. His figure was tall and straight, and he looked indifferent and noble.

Just standing there, Eric gave off an oppressive vibe.

He always had a lofty seriousness about him.

It made people feel distant from him.

When they were together, Selena was patient with him, but there was no longer a need for that.

They had broken up for three months, and Selena was doing better than she imagined.

To be free meant she had to give up on their relationship.

However, this price was worth it.

Four bodyguards stood behind Eric.

After Harvey got on the elevator, two bodyguards pushed Harvey aside to make way for Eric.

Eric walked out of the elevator without changing his expression. He withdrew his cold gaze from Selena and walked toward the large conference hall.

Selena regained her expression and looked toward Harvey.

Harvey waved at her, signaling that he was fine and that he would not take it to heart.

He went into the elevator without seeing who was inside earlier.

Afterward, Harvey vaguely felt that the man at the back looked familiar.

The elevator doors slowly closed.

Selena turned around and left.

She went back to the big conference hall.

Unexpectedly, Eric stood at the door and made a phone call before he went in.

The cigarette smoke at his fingertips drifted upward in wisps.

Eric responded to the person on the phone with a low voice, but his gaze landed on Selena.

He did not expect Selena to walk into the hall without raising her head.

It was as if she had not seen him at all.

Selena subconsciously rolled her eyes, but she had turned away from him, so she was sure that he did not see it.

However, the door was reflective.

Thus, Eric noticed how Selena rolled her eyes.

Eric was speechless and furious.

He stopped in his footsteps and did not follow her inside.

Eric only went in after he finished smoking that cigarette.

This time, a new group of people was in charge of negotiations. Thus, everyone's temper and attitude were much better than last time.

The professional negotiators had sufficient experience in dealing with such situations.

When it was Selena's turn, she stayed in the reception room. Her slot was at the same time as a store opposite her bar.

The boss of the store was a young lady who did not know how to negotiate. Thus, when bombarded with questions, the woman could only shake her head in embarrassment.

The negotiator noticed this and wanted to break through from her first.

Selena could not stand it anymore. She tapped on the table and said, "Just get to the point. You don't need to fool us with all this nonsense. I disagree with this price, so there's no need to talk about it if you can't meet my demands."

The young lady on the opposite side seemed to have found her support and nodded repeatedly.

The negotiators paused and finally focused on Selena.

'Ms. Nelson, we have learned that your bar has just been renovated. It is indeed a loss for you to agree to the demolition at this price. We have also applied to the upper management to compensate you for the renovation costs. What do you think?"

Selena paused. She remained silent for a few seconds and said calmly, "It's your duty to compensate me, and I can't lose out. I'm still not satisfied with the price."

"Ms. Nelson, this price..."

Selena stretched out her hand and interrupted him. "Add another $6 million on top of this. Otherwise, there's nothing to discuss."

The other party was obviously taken aback.

Finally, he smiled bitterly. "Ms. Nelson..."

The other shop's owner looked at Selena and said, "I agree."

Everyone knew how to ask for higher compensation.

Selena looked determined and cold.

"You can talk to your boss. I've done my research about this demolition. The highest property value in the same area is this price. If I sell it, I'll naturally sell it at the highest price. Otherwise, how would I make money?"

Her words made the other party feel embarrassed and wary.

"Ms. Nelson, we need to think about it."

Selena twitched the corners of her mouth and nodded indifferently. "Of course."

She was halfway to success as long as they agreed to think about it.

As soon as the negotiator left, the young shop owner could not help but sigh.

"Selena, you're amazing for being so tough! My store is the only thing my parents left me. If I agree with such a cheap compensation, how would I replace such a good location to open another store?" Selena glanced at her and smiled.

"Don't worry, this kind of negotiation is actually not that scary. This is about your own interests, so why do you care about being polite? I'll even act like a shrew if needed!”

The shop owner nodded in appreciation.

Five minutes later, the negotiators returned.

The person walking at the back was Eric.

The person in front still sat in the main seat and looked at Selena with a smile.

"Ms. Nelson, we have discussed your request. Since you have just finished the renovation, and the cost is relatively high, we are willing to pay an extra $3 million."

Selena twitched the corner of her mouth.

She was clearly dissatisfied.

The man spoke again.

"However, we have two proposals for you. The first proposal is to add another $3 million to your compensation, but you will not be compensated for other matters in the future. The second proposal is that we won't pay you the $3 million. Instead, we can design a bar for you on the new site drawings. Ferguson Corporation will also undertake the reconstruction and renovation costs of the bar. Of course, we can also guarantee that there are no competing businesses. What do you think?"

Selena glanced at Eric casually. At a glance, she saw that Eric was looking at her.

The emotions in his eyes were indistinct.

Naturally, Selena was not so presumptuous to think that this was for her benefit. She did not hesitate and said, "I just want money. Don't mention anything else."

The other party was obviously taken aback and wanted to continue to persuade her.

"Ms. Nelson, you have a regular source of customers, and your business is also very good. If your bar is rebuilt by our designer, it will definitely be on a higher level. It's not a loss for you to stay here." Selena's eyes were cold. "I said, I want money."
