The Divorced Billionaire Heiress
Chapter 2183 His Daughter

Chapter 2183 His Daughter

Julie was a half-assed cook, and Kai had no talent at all. Otherwise,

he would not have been beaten by Floyd in the past. 1

When Nicole went into the kitchen, they had already cooked several dishes.

They made cucumber salad and pickled onions.

There were also all kinds of burnt seafood on the side.

Nicole could not bear to look at it.

Julie smiled and pulled Nicole to the side.

"I just ordered your favorite seafood and sashimi from the Millennium Hotel, so we don't need to serve this."

Nicole nodded in agreement.

Even though Nicole cooked before, Nicole did not cook anymore since she dated Clayton because he did not let her into the kitchen. Thus, she was a little rusty.

Seeing the unappetizing dishes that could not be served, Nicole also agreed to wait for the arrival of the takeout.

As a result, when they went out of the kitchen, they heard Floyd telling Clayton not to help out because it would be too tiring.

Kai coughed dryly and objected in dissatisfaction.

"Dear father, I'm your biological son!"

Floyd pursed his lips in disapproval.

"Not necessarily... We might've taken the wrong baby home from the hospital..."

Kai said, "I was born at home!"

Floyd replied, "Oh, I forgot..."

Julie laughed so hard that she could not stand straight.

Nicole also covered her mouth and snickered.

Aida came over with a beautifully decorated cake with petals while

Grant carefully supported her back for fear of her tripping.

"Mr. Anderson, I hope you won't blame us if it's not delicious."

The butler smiled.

"Of course not! It's so beautiful that I can't bear to eat it!"

Everyone laughed. After a while, they heard a car parked outside. Clayton stood up and said, "Chatty and Fischer are back."

Sure enough, the next second, Chatty ran in happily while Fischer chased after her with two small school bags in his hand. He panted tiredly but was not at all impatient with her. "Happy birthday, Mr. Anderson!"

The butler smiled happily with squinted eyes.

"Thank you, Chatty."

Behind her, Fischer took out a small gift box from the schoolbag.

"Happy birthday, Mr. Anderson! This is a gift from me and Chatty!"

The butler was flattered. He opened it in front of everyone and saw a piece of translucent jade.

Kai gritted his teeth and leaned closer to Nicole.

"Did you prepare this?"

Nicole pursed her lips and shrugged her shoulders.

"I swear, it's not us. Also, if this was Clayton's idea, judging by his personality, he'll never let Chatty and Fischer share the same gift." Kai rubbed his chin and thought that it made sense. Clayton coddled his daughter and treated her like treasure.

At that moment, Clayton also looked at the two children strangely. He was very surprised.

Chatty loved being praised and went to Clayton to ask for a hug.

Clayton wanted to know where she got the gift from, so he picked her up and went to the side, separating her from Fischer.

Levi was upstairs studying. Fischer quickly climbed upstairs without hesitation.

"Chatty, where did you get the present?"

Clayton asked her gently. His voice was soothing and pleasant to the ear.

Chatty replied, "Fish bought it!"

Clayton pursed his lips. "Did Fischer use his allowance?"

He thought that Fischer was quite sensible and had a better impression of this kid.

Clayton smiled.

Chatty also smiled and said, "No. We traded it!"

She said happily and sneakily.

This was the first time she went shopping. She did not expect that she could buy things without money.

Would she be able to trade in items anytime and anywhere in the future?

Clayton was puzzled. "What did you exchange it with?"

Chatty rolled her big eyes as she replied, "Daddy's broken watch..."

Clayton was shocked as if he was struck by lightning.

His wrist was empty, and he could not replace the watch this morning, so he thought that he left it in the office.

That watch was worth tens of millions and was a gift from Nicole!

His face was glum. He was so angry that he could not say a word.

Back then, Chatty liked to play with his watch. He was afraid that Chatty would lose it, so he lied to her and said, "This watch is broken. Daddy will buy you a new one to play with." Thus, they thought that they could trade in a broken watch.

For a moment, Clayton felt suffocated and speechless.

He thought, 'She's my daughter, so I can't get angry!'

When Nicole came out, she saw Clayton carrying Chatty with a disheartened look on his face.

She walked over and carried Chatty. "What's wrong?"

Chatty did not know how much trouble she had caused.

She said, "Mommy, I'm going to replace Leaf!"

Nicole put her down. "Okay, don't run."

Clayton looked at Nicole and suddenly felt like complaining to her.

However, when he opened his mouth, he chose to hold back after some thought.

Forget it. He would just get someone to buy it back later.

Clayton hugged her shoulders, and the couple went back together.

The meal was lively and enjoyable.

They all ate to their heart's content.

Since Nicole proposed to go on a vacation, she had arranged to get her work done in advance or postponed.

If the schedule was fixed, Nicole pushed it to Grant.

Lately, Grant ran away whenever he saw her. He was not at all like her big brother.

At first, Nicole rejected Euan's invitation and wanted to go alone,

but when she was at the airport, Euan was already there with his assistant.

Thus, they could only go together.

Clayton carried his sleepy daughter while Nicole held Fischer's hand. She also brought two assistants with her.

The hotel was on top of the mountain, but it was not comparable to the hotels in the city.

The road up the mountain was very tiring. Nicole originally wanted to walk up the mountain by herself. Chatty decided she had walked enough, so she stopped, sat on the steps, and refused to get up. Fischer sat next to Chatty. The two of them did not cry or make a fuss. They just protested in silence.

Clayton stared at them helplessly.

The other hikers saw this with delight.

The main reason was that everyone in this family was too good-looking. The two children were so cute. Even when they were sulking, they only stared at their parents with wide eyes without crying or making a fuss. Everyone's heart melted for them. However, Clayton was too familiar with Chatty's tricks.

Chatty did not speak and sat there aggrievedly. This was one of her ways of throwing a tantrum.

They had only walked less than a third of the way. If they climbed the mountain carrying her, they would be exhausted.

If they gave up now, this trip would be wasted.

The two assistants took the cable car to the top of the mountain and waited for them there, so no one could help them.

Nicole stood on the side. She saw someone take out their phone wanting to take a picture of the two cute kids.

Her eyes flickered. She quickly blocked the camera's view and said to Clayton in a low voice, "Let's go! Everyone's watching!" Clayton looked at her helplessly and reached out to carry Chatty. "Next time, we can come alone."

Chatty was delighted. Then, she pouted and looked down at

Clayton. "Daddy, I can climb by myself when my legs grow a little longer..." Clayton chuckled as he thought, 'Yeah, right! I'll never believe that!
