Chapter 2420 Swiss Trip

Switzerland.

Clayton's birthday was still a few days away, but Nicole could not wait to take everyone to Switzerland. The reason was that she fell in love with a ski resort and wanted to buy it as a birthday present for Clayton.

The air in Switzerland was fresh. The place was quiet, cold, and white all around.

Clayton bundled up, walked with a cane, and held Nicole's hand.

Kai and Julie were behind them. One of them carried Chatty while the other held Fischer's hand.

The four of them looked more like a family of four.

The driver came to pick them up.

The temperature in the car finally warmed them up.

Clayton stuffed the heated pouch that was in the car into Nicole's hands and touched her hand.

"Are you still cold?"

Nicole shook her head and could not help but sigh.

"It wasn't so cold in the past few years. Why is it so cold this year?"

Kai laughed. "Because you're old and not so resistant to the cold anymore!"

"Shut up-"

Nicole and Julie scolded in unison.

Age was a taboo subject for women.

The car was silent for a few seconds.

Soon after, everyone could not help but laugh.

Clayton stroked Nicole's hair. His eyes were full of tenderness.

"You're still a baby. How can you be old?"

Nicole smiled with curved eyes and blinked at him.

"We're forever young! My brother can grow old by himself!"

Nicole looked like she was nineteen years old. She did not have any wrinkles on her face, and her skin was supple and elastic. Her eyes were radiant, and her skin was delicate. She seemed to have stopped aging. The only change was that she was less immature and more gentle.

This was probably the change Clayton brought to Nicole. Kai snorted with dissatisfaction from behind.

They soon arrived at the villa.

Kai took off his coat as soon as he entered and stretched his back.

The servants had already adjusted the temperature in the room, and the firewood in the stove was burning vigorously. The snow outside was thick, and the sky was white with clouds.

Only a few standing pine trees and dry branches in the yard had a few lanterns. It was a beautiful scene.

Chatty was excited to run out to play in the snow.

However, Clayton pulled her over and dusted off the snow from her body while he coaxed her calmly.

"Wait for a while and go with Fischer."

When he spoke, he was so gentle and nice.

Fischer ran over excitedly and jumped on his back.

"Daddy, let's go skiing!"

Clayton's body swayed, but luckily, he did not fall. He pulled Fischer to the front and took off the boy's jacket.

"Let's go tomorrow. It's going to be dark soon..."

Fischer sighed in disappointment.

Clayton took off their jackets and stood up by himself.

"Go upstairs and get changed. You guys can go out to play for a while."

Chatty was happy that she got permission to play for a while and climbed upstairs contentedly. Fischer also followed closely behind.

Nicole sat in front of the stove and took off her coat when she warmed up. Clayton just walked over and took her coat over.

The servants then took it from Clayton.

"Where's your ski resort?" Kai asked a question.

Nicole flipped through her phone. "It's not far away. Let me call and ask how the preparation is going."

Clayton and the others sat down beside Nicole after packing up.

The phone call got through.

The other party spoke immediately. "Ms. Stanton? Are you in Switzerland?"

Nicole responded. "How is the preparation of the ski resort going? Can we go there tomorrow?"

The other party hesitated for a second.

"It's possible, but we have a guest who has been here for several days. He paid me a month's rent at that time, and he hasn't checked out yet. I thought of refunding him, but he said he doesn't mind other people here. Ms. Stanton, if you don't mind, you can come tomorrow. He won't bother you." The other party was obviously a little nervous.

After all, he had failed to deal with this difficult problem.

"By the way, that guest is also from Mediania." Nicole paused.

"Alright, I don't mind. We may not bump into him anyway. But I hope he won't stay after our transaction goes through."

"Of course. This guest is a bit strange. He has three more days here, so it won't affect anything."

They agreed to make the transaction after their holiday.

Nicole planned to vacation for seven days this time, so it did not affect anything.

The servant brought over some cookies with a strong cheese flavor that was fresh out of the pan.

Each of them took one and ate slowly. It was still warm.

Kai could not help but look at Clayton and smiled.

"Brother-in-law, you won't be able to play tomorrow, huh?"

Clayton smiled and said with a gentle and low voice, "I'll just go and have a look since it's Nicole's gift to me. But if it can make you all happy, this trip is worthwhile."

Nicole nodded in relief and gave Kai a warning look.

"Don't try to sow discord!" Kai was speechless.

Julie smiled. "We sneaked out this time. If Big Brother replaces out, he might yell at us."

Nicole and Kai could not help but imagine that scene. In the end, they both had triumphant smiles on their faces.

The next day, everyone packed up and set off early in the morning.

Although Clayton could not ski, he could wait in the room.

There was a big villa in the ski resort.

In the past, it was a rich person's vacation home. However, the owner had to sell it off because of an emergency.

Nicole was keen on skiing, but with so many things happening in recent years, she had put this hobby on hold fora longtime.

Kai had always accompanied her on ski trips too.

This time, Julie tagged along, so Kai was in a good mood and wanted to show off his skills.

Julie could not ski. She wanted Nicole to teach her at first, but Nicole disappeared in a flash.

Chatty and Fischer, who were beginners, were being taught by professional coaches. They were still amateurs and fell every 3 meters.

Julie was slightly better than the kids. At least, she did not fall. Kai went skiing a few laps and came back to Julie. He stretched out his hand with a smile.

"Shall I teach you?"

Julie was annoyed with the fact that Kai left her and ran off on his own just now.

So, she was still brooding about it. Julie waved to the coach behind him.

"I don't need you. I want a professional!"

Kai was speechless.

Clayton watched what happened below and could not help but laugh.

Nicole, who was in the distance, was zipping away with the wind at top speed. She was bright, reckless, and agile, like an elf. That kind of joy on her face came from the heart.

If Clayton knew Nicole liked skiing so much, he would have brought her here earlier.

Suddenly, he heard heavy footsteps behind him that stopped next to him.

"What a coincidence!" The voice next to him was hoarse and rough.

Clayton turned his head. He was a little surprised to see the person, but he quickly regained his expression and said with a smile, "Mr. Sheldon, what a coincidence! It turns out that you're the guest that the owner mentioned! If Nicole and Julie knew it was you, they would have contacted you in advance."
