"Is your grandfather confused? Are you confused too?" Amiya sneered. "Ranita, dare to sign andsee what happens!"

Elliot frowned, his mild expression disappearing as he spoke coldly. "Mrs. Stuart, threatening isillegal. Please think twice."

"Illegal? She has taken possession of the Stuart family's property and I am going to sue her forbreaking the law!"

Ranita was hesitant at first but seeing Amiya's arrogant attitude she quickly signed her name with afew strokes of her pen. "Mrs. Stuart, sorry but one cannot refuse an elder."

"Ranita... you..."

Brendon stopped Amiya and also signed in front of her.

Elliot was pleased with their cooperation and said, "I will take care of all follow-up matters and ifthere are any problems, Ms. Bowman, you can call me anytime." He left a business card behindbefore taking the documents with him.

Brendon personally escorted Amiya out and when they reached the door he said, "Mom, I havesomething to tell you. I don't plan on divorcing Ranita."

"What?" Today had been enough excitement for Amiya already; she felt dizzy at this news. "If youdon't divorce, then what about Shannon? How can that poor girl marry someone else after being sopure?"

At the mention of Shannon, Brendon felt guilty but he didn't want to lose Ranita either, "Mom, I'llhandle things with Shannon... you should go home now!"

After making a trip in vain, Amiya was so frustrated that she was on the verge of spitting blood. Hermood remained sour all the way to Boulderland Mansion. Upon entering, she heard from a servantthat Shannon was packing up, prompting her to hurry and check.

"Shannon! What happened? Why are you packing up your things?"

Shannon had red eyes from crying earlier, "Auntie... I... I just can't take it anymore! Brendon isn'tdivorcing Ranita so why should I stay here? I don't want to be known as someone who ruins otherpeople's marriages by being their third wheel."

"Auntie, please leave me alone," sobbed Shannon pitifully on the carpeted floor.

Amiya hated Ranita down into every fiber of her bones right now; wishing she could just strangleher directly but Wyatt's money was still in Ranita's hands!

"Shannon, don't cry! Don't cry! Brendon likes you very much so he will definitely divorce Ranitaeventually. There must be some reason why he hasn't done it yet!"

As she spoke these words, Amiya recounted everything that had happened today for Shannon'sbenefit.

Shannon's tears stopped as she spoke up for Amiya, "Auntie... Mr. Stuart is being too unfair. You'rehis daughter-in-law, and Holly and Brendon are his own family. How could he leave all that money toRanita?"

"Shannon, don't be upset. Brendon is definitely going to divorce Ranita, but she has to return themoney before they do so. Just be patient a little longer."

But Shannon couldn't wait any longer; every second felt like an eternity! She bit her lip and askedwith a quivering voice, "Is that true? Does Brendon feel the same way?"

"I've waited so long for this moment... I really want to be with Brendon officially," Shannon lamented.

Amiya comforted her saying, "Don't worry Shannon! I will never acknowledge Ranita as mydaughter-in-law. You are the only one! So just relax and stay here peacefully! You are the futuremistress of Boulderland Mansion. If Ranita leaves now, then let her go."

Ranita didn't even want to go back to Boulderland Mansion anymore.

She was still in shock.

"Brendon... pinch me please? Is it real? Am I really going to become a rich woman?" Ranita heldher face in disbelief.
