"Steve! If you still consider me a friend, keep your distance from Ranita,” Brendon slammed his drinlonto the table, causing the ice to clink and brown liquid to spill out. The man’s face was cold anddark.

“Brendon... you shouldn't be so agitated,” Steve calmly wiped the table with a tissue and handedBrendon his glass. "You had to marry Ranita at that time."

Had to? Brendon suddenly felt repulsed by that phrase.

"What about our future relationship? And your family won't accept her.” Brendon frowned. "I livedwith her for three years. Even though we're divorced now, I still hope she has a better life in thefuture.”

Brendon convinced himself that he had some feelings for Ranita after living together for three yearsIt was understandable that he cared about her future.

Arthur didn't give up and asked again, "Then just have a glass of red wine!"

Ranita wasn't suitable for drinking now and was about to refuse when Shannon joined in with asmirk, "Ranita, even though you have work to do, it shouldn't be a problem if you drink one glass asan act of kindness?"

The restaurant inside Bulgari was very high-end with luxurious decoration that sparkled brightly! Assoon as Ranita turned out from the restroom door entranceway; she bumped into someone familiar"Brendon... you..." Before Ranita could speak any further, Brendon had already grabbed onto herwrist tightly!
