"Ah!" A scream rang out.

Ranita jumped in surprise and looked at Shannon, who had collided with a chair and fallen to theground. She wondered if she had used too much force.

Why did Shannon fly two meters away?

It was so fake!

“Miss Murphy, I only touched your finger. You don't have to be so dramatic...” Ranita couldn't helpbut lose her temper. She was sure she only touched Shannon's finger! Besides, even if she had usedmore force, it wouldn't have been enough to push someone two meters away like Popeye.Shannon was obviously doing this on purpose!

Ranita felt annoyed and couldn't help but explain to Brendon, "Brendon, it was actually Shannonwho bumped into me first. I didn't expect this accident either.”

Talk about what? Was he going to force her to apologize again like last time?

"Brendon, I didn't mean to hurt Miss Murphy." Ranita hung her head low as she spoke in a hollowvoice devoid of anger.

Ranita had always been good at managing emotions but right now she felt overwhelmed with painShe thought getting divorced would bring peace into her life but she was wrong; trouble keptreplaceing its way back as long as she stayed close with Brendon.

The private room was now empty.

Ranita, seemingly unaware of the lingering pain in her ankle, stood there in a daze for a long time.Only when a sudden wave of abdominal pain hit her did she plop down into a chair, her face turningpale as she clutched her stomach.

“Ranita! What's wrong?"

When Dylan arrived, he saw Ranita lying motionless on the table and was scared out of his wits."Dylan... can you please take me home?" Ranita managed to squeeze out a sentence with difficulty.She really couldn't hold on any longer.

Dylan was so angry that he couldn't speak. "How can you go home like this? I'll take you to thehospital!”

Ranita didn't have the strength to argue and was picked up by Dylan in a hurry and rushed to thehospital.
