(Rose)

Did he just ask to k**s me?

Do I want him to?

“Yes, yes we do! Let that hunky man k**s us!” The strange voice says in my head.

You again, I think to myself.

“So, who are you?” I ask the voice in my head.

“You will know soon enough, Rose, although you already know and are afraid to believe it. But in the meantime, please let that man of ours k**s us.” The voice says.

“Lilly?” I ask the voice, but all I get is silence.

I open a link with Aspen. “Sorry it took so long to reply. I was talking to the voice in my head. But please tell Ash I would like him to k**s me.” I say to him.

“Yes my sleeping beauty, I will tell him. Get some rest you have a lot of changes coming up soon. We will be by your side through it all.” He tells me.

The room is quiet. I can hear Ash breathing and his heart rate increases. I giggle to myself; Aspen must have spoken to him. I feel him leaning down closer to me. My insides are in knots and I am in shock.

My first k**s will be with my mate, while I am unconscious and unable to do anything.

“Rose, I know you can hear and feel me. I am going to k**s you now.” Ash says out loud.

He is being such a gentleman. He is acting so sweetly. Does he know that we are mates?

I feel him leaning down closer to me. I take a deep breath preparing for the sensation that I know is going to come from sharing a k**s with a true mate.

His lips touch mine, and instantly I feel the sparks. They are so intense it takes my breath away! I hear my self gasp. Ash steps back. I feel my eyes start to flutter and open. Ash is watching me with a smile on his face.

“Was that as good for you as it was for me?” He asks.

I blush, I am sure my face is as red as a tomato by now.

I just smile and say, “I’ve had better.”

Before my sentence is finished, he growls and steps closer to the bed. He is now right in front of me and he leans down.

“I know for a fact that no one has kissed those lips before, so are you just confused and need another k**s?” He asks me while leaning down.

“Maybe I am confused. Can I have another k**s?” I ask him with a smile on my face.

He grins at me before leaning down. He then gently presses his lips to mine. And I feel those magical sparks and before I can think..

“Mate,” I say while pulling out of the k**s.

I asked to k**s her. While waiting for her to reach out to my wolf for her answer, I just look at her. She is so beautiful, even just laying here. I am so happy that she is mine. I will have to tell her soon.

Soon enough Aspen is talking to me.

“Our sleeping beauty said yes you can k**s her.” He tells me, and I smile.

“She is a sleeping beauty right now; a k**s will wake her up for a little while. I hope she doesn’t have too many questions for me.” I respond to him.

Before he can say anything else I am leaning down to k**s her. I talk out loud to let her know what I am doing. I don’t want to shock and scare her. And it’s also helping to calm me down. I have never been so nervous before.

She is my mate, and also my first k**s. I didn’t expect this to be the way it played out though. But it will work for now. We have our whole lives ahead of us. I am so glad that I waited and saved myself for my mate.

As I pull away I hear Rose gasp, so I step back a little and watch as she wakes up.

I can’t help but smile and ask her, “Was it as good for you as it was for me?” I ask her.

I watch as her face turns red, as she blushes.

“I’ve had better,” she says.

I can’t control the growl that comes from me.

“I know for a fact that no one has kissed those lips before, so are you just confused and need another k**s?” I ask her while leaning down.

Her heart rate increases. I smile down at her.

“Maybe I am confused. Can I have another k**s?” she asks me with a smile on her face.

I grin at her before leaning down.

My lips gently touch hers. She gasps as the sparks start. It is the most amazing feeling in the world! I would love to have this feeling forever! I feel Rose pull away from me.

I open my eyes and look down at her.

“Mate,” she says to me.

I just stare at her. My wolf is running crazy in my head. He is so excited that she knows. I’m glad that she knows and that I don’t have to explain it to her.

I smile.

“Yes, we are mates. My sleeping beauty.” I say to her with a smile.

I walk around the bed and get into the covers next to her.

I feel her roll over. We are both laying on our sides facing each other.

“I am so exhausted. This voice in my head is telling me that I need to sleep. It says that it will be challenging to wake up for the next day or so.” She says to me.

Her eyes are getting heavy. I can tell she is struggling to keep them open.

“It’s okay Rose, I know that you have a lot going on. I will be right by your side for all of it. We have two guards outside the room to be sure you are safe at all times.” I say to her.

Her eyes are closed and I can tell that she has fallen asleep.

“Good night my sleeping beauty. Sleep well,” I say to her.

I then lean over, pull her closer to me, and I k**s her forehead. In her sleep she snuggles into me.

We both sigh in contentment. As I drift off to sleep, I feel something strange going on.

“Ash!” I hear a strange voice saying to me.
