This is just great. Not only can I hear the thoughts of people, I can also hear the thoughts of their wolves. This needs to get under control soon, or I am going to have a migraine.

“We will be okay. After breakfast, we will start training with Raymond.” Lilly says to me.

“Yeah I know. But what if I can’t control it? How am I supposed to enjoy anything that is going on today if I am hearing everyone’s thoughts?” I ask her.

“If you can not get the hang of it, then I am sure Raymond has another idea or a way to help.” She tells me.

I hope so, I think to myself. Ash and I walk out of the bedroom and into the main suite. Craig is standing there with Alex. They seem to be in deep conversation with Raymond. They turn and look at us, Raymond smiles and the other two nod at us.

“Good morning, sleepy heads.” Craig says as we get closer to them.

“Morning,” Ash says to him. “What are you three discussing so seriously this early in the morning?” He asks.

The three of them turn and look directly at me. “Let me guess. The topic so early this morning is me?” I ask them. They nod their heads.

“You seem to be the most interesting topic to talk about these days,” Alex says while nudging my shoulder with his.

“Okay, well, let’s go eat. I am starving. Then we can discuss me and everything else that is going on.” I say to them, walking towards the door. I get stopped by Raymond.

“Levi is outside the room, he will be spending breakfast with you. I have a few things I need to do to prepare for your training today.” He says to me. I nod at him and I open the door.

“Good morning Rose,” Levi says to me while nodding at the others.

We walk past him and down the stairs. We head to the dining room. As we walk in, I notice that the staff members are bowing down to me while saying good morning to me. I look at Ash, who just shrugs his shoulder at me.

Well, this is strange, I think to myself while walking past them and heading to the table.

“I don’t want them to bow to me. I don’t like all that attention,” I say to her.

“I know that, but this is who you are. You can speak to them and let them know that they can respect you without having to bow. Let them know, just speak to them, respect them and they will respect you.” Lilly says to me.

“I think before I try to talk to them about anything, I need to get some control over my gifts. That way I have a better idea on what I am capable of. And maybe I can learn to pull back my aura like the Alpha’s do.” I say to her.

“Rose, are you okay?” Ash asks me.

“Yeah why?” I ask.

“Well, you have been standing behind your chair for a few minutes now. Staring into space.” He says to me.

“I am okay, was just talking with Lilly.” I tell him with a smile and taking my seat.

As soon as we are all seated, the kitchen staff brings out the carts with all the food on them. They place all the food onto the table, and then they go back into the kitchen. I look around and smile. Since coming here I have started to eat more and all the food is always so good.

On the table infront of us is so much food. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, fresh fruit, and fried potatoes. We all dig into the food and fill our plates. No one says much as we eat. I look up to see that Levi is just sitting there watching us.

“Everything okay?” I ask Levi. He looks over to me and nods.

“Yeah, everything is okay. It is always fascinating to me how much you guys eat. As a vampire, we only feed every few days.” He tells us.

“What do you feed on?” I ask before thinking.

He laughs. “Our group only hunts animals, you know that we only consume b***d. After we feed, we leave the carcus in the woods and another wild animal will eat the rest.” He tells me.

“You will have to get used to this. Since you have shifted, your aura has changed. They can feel it, even if they don’t know it yet.” Lilly says to me.

“And what do other groups hunt?” Craig asks.

“Humans.” Levi tells us. We all just stop and watch him as he speaks.

“They hunt humans. Vampires need the b***d to survive and human b***d gives us a rush as well as a meal. It’s kind of like a drug. And once you try it, it’s hard to stop. Vampires have been known to go into a feeding frenzy. The other thing with hunting humans, is our venom can change them into one of us, so if we do not fully drain them of all their b***d, they can turn into a vampire. So most vampires nowadays only hunt animals.” He says while watching us.

“Well, I am glad that you and your group are animal hunters.” I say to him. I look around the table and everyone is just watching Levi.

We finish eating in silence. As we finish, the kitchen staff come out and clear the table. We stand up and head out of the dining room. We stop in the front room.

“Well, I have to go prepare some things with my father today. You are going with Raymond to train this morning. I will see you at lunch time.” Ash says to me while giving me a quick k**s and then turning and walking up the staris.

“Well, Raymond should have everything ready by now. Are you ready to go out to the woods?” Levi asks me. I nod at him.

“As ready as I will ever be,” I say. Alex and Craig turn to walk away, but Levi stops them.

“Actually, you two will be coming with us as well. Raymond has already cleared it with the King.” Levi says.

“Why do we have to go?” Alex asks.

“She can’t read a vampire’s mind, so to train her she will have to be able to read someone’s mind.” Levi says with a smile.

“Oh, no.” Craig says while looking at me with big eyes, “I do not want her in my head.” He says.

“This is going to be interesting,” I say while walking out the door.
