Chapter 82

(Rose)

I watch as the Queen and my mother rush into the room. They soon usher the guys all out. Once they are out the mom’s, close the door and smile at one another and come over to sit down next to me on the couch.

I feel a link open and know that it is Ash.

“Yes love?” I ask him.

“Enjoy your girl time, I will see you soon. I love you, please reach out to me if you need anything.” He says.

“I will be okay, our mothers will be with me at all times.” I tell him cutting the link.

“So, Rose, how have you been?” My mother asks me.

“I have been okay, keeping busy. I will be glad once the kingdom knows that I am expecting, so that I can go shopping though. Nothing I have fits and I am tired of sending people to do what I want to do.” I tell her with a smile.

“Yes, it will be good to be able to go out and go back to normal. We understand why you have waited though.” The Queen tells me patting my leg.

“How has training gone?” Mom asks me.

“Good, I have been able to keep my powers undercontrol and Raymond has been great with keeping me calm.” I smile at them.

“Speaking of Raymond, he got me a dress for today.” I say as I get up and grab the dress from where Ash hung it up on the door hook.

I Iturn and show them. They both smile.

“It is perfect! A beautiful color, the material is nice, it will flow nicely over your cute little bump.” The Queen says to me.

“Yes it is petty perfect.” I say as I rub my belly.

Both moms jump up and come closer.

“Can we feel the baby? I am sure by now, baby is moving alot and you can feel it.” The Queen says reaching for my belly.

I jump back.

“Actually please don’t touch my belly.” I tell her, I watch as her face falls and she looks sad.

“I am sorry. I just felt the baby for the first time today, and I want to be sure Ash is the next to feel the baby move.” I say quickly, coming up with a lie. I fear that if they touch my belly both babies will move and they will know the big secret before the meeting.

“That is great. And no worries, I will get my chance to feel baby move when you are ready.” The Queen says to me with a smile.

“I am so glad that Ash has been so good to you. He takes great care of you and will be an excellent fatherr.” She continues.

“Yes he has been great. I can not wait to see how good of a daddy he is.” I say with a smile rubbing my belly. The babies move and I giggle. “It feels like butterfly’s,” I say.

“Yes, it is a strange feeling.” The Queen says to me. I notice that mom has been kind of quiet.

“Mom, is everything okay?” I ask her walking up to her.

“Yes, everything is fine. I love to watch you grow your family, but it makes me sad as I never got to experience this.” She says giving me a hug.

“I’m sorry,” I say looking at the ground.

“No need to be sorry love, I have you and you are the best thing to have ever happened to me. Now, lets get you ready so that the kingdom can know the great news.” She tells me.

I sit down in the chair near the windows. The Queen starts on my hair, she starts to put curls in it. Mom starts on my make up, she knows that I like very little and try to stay as natural as possible.

I just sit and relax and let them pamper me.

I watch out the window as members of the kingdom move around and take care of things that need done for the day.

Soon the two of them step back and look at me.

“You look great,” They both say at the same time.

“Thank you, can one of you help me into my dress please.” I ask.

“Of cours, I will help you and the Queen can go and finish the last of the preparations.” My mom says with a smile, grabbing the dress and going into the room.

“I will see you down stairs soon.” The Queen tells me giving me a hug.

“Thank you, again.” I say to her with a smile.

“No, problem. I love being able to help the future queen get ready to meet her kingdom.” She says with a smile.

I walk into the room and see that mom has the dress laid on the bed. I smile and walk over to her.

“Mom, would you like to feel the baby?” I ask her.

“I would love that, but I thought you wanted Ash to feel the baby before anyone else?” She asks.

“He said he was fine with it, he can feel the baby any time he wants too.” I tell her sitting on the edge of the bed.

She smilles and places her hand on my belly. And as if they knew, only one of the babies rolled and pressed into her hand. I smile as I watch her face light up, she gets tears in her eyes.

“Hello little one. I am so excited to get to meet you.” She says. She then gives me a hug.

“Thank you for that, now lets get you dressed.” She says.

She helps me into my dress and shoes.

I walk over to the mirror and smile.

The dress is a perfect color and the lengh is just right. It fits the bodice well, and then flows over my belly and to the ground.

“Raymond is really good at picking out my clothes, I think I will need to take him shopping with me.” I say as I turn around from the mirror.

“Yes he is,” Mom says. She leads me out of the room and to the door.

“Are you ready for your big anouncement?” She asks me.

“Yes I am.” I tell her.

We head out the door and down the stairs. We get to the front door and it opens, just as mom goes to grab the handle. She jumps back and smiles. There is Ash waiting for me.

“Hello Kat, Rose, are you ready?” He asks me.

“Yes I am, ” I tell him giving him a hug.

The three of us walk out the door and up to the stage. Ash and my Mom stand in front of me, trying to cover my belly until it is time.

“Welcome all,” The King says smiling as he looks over the crowd.

“We have a few anouncements to make and then we will have a feast. First I would like to welcome Ash and Rose, they have agreed to take over the Kingdom. So as of now they are the new King and Queen.” I gasp and the crowd cheers.

I didnt know about this, I knew it would happen soon, I just didn’t know when.

“I took care of everyting with my parents the past few weeks. They will still be around and able to help and guid us.” Ash whispers to me.

I smile at him. “Are you sure your ready to be King?” I ask him.

“I have been trained for this my whole life.” He tells me =, leaning over and kissing my temple.

“The second anouncement, is even better news.” The King says while smiling at me.

“Soon we will have an heir to the Kingdom. Rose here is half way through her pregnancy. I know many of you have wondered where she has been. She was resting and taking care of herself and wanted to be sure she was well, before anouncing the pregnancy to you all.” The King says as he gestures for me to come up on stage.

My Mom and Ash step to the side to let me though them. As I walk up on stage I smile at everyone. Everyone cheers, I can tell that they are excited to know that there is a future leader coming soon.

I step up next to the King, he gives me a smile and a hug.

“And the third anouncement is actually two in one.” I start.

I turn so that I can see Ash, Mom and the past Queen.

“I am not expecting one baby, I am expecting two,” I am cut off by gasps and applause and some yelling.

“And we are haveing one boy and one girl.” I finish.

I watch our mothers. They are both crying and holding on to one another.

I watch Ash as he walks up to me.

“I thought we where just surprising our mothers? I was not expecting a surprise as well.” He says wrapping me in his arms.

“Doctor came yesturday while you where with your father, and I wanted to surprise you.” I say leaning up to k**s him.

“Well I was surprised, and I am so greatful for the blessings that the goddess has given us.” He says kissing me back.

“And that is the conclusion of the meeting. Before we head in to eat, lets have an applause for the future of the kingdom.” The King says.

There is clapping and cheering, some even shift and let out howls.

I smile as I look around at the kingdom, at my kingdom.

“We will have a happy and blessed life.” Lilly says to me and I smile.

“Yes we will,” I tell her.
