After all, the white tiger royal family had the final say in their territory. However, it was impossible for Philip to tell Arlo about such things. "You don't need to know how I found out. If you have a trump card, you can use it now. If you don't, I'll send you on your way..." Before Arlo could speak, a weather-beaten voice rang out from a distance. It was a voice that told many stories.

"Little one, have mercy..."

Philip looked in the direction of the voice, his gaze sharp and his brows slightly furrowed.

He saw a dark alley. A tapping sound and light footsteps came from that direction.

Everyone followed suit and saw an old man with a cane slowly walking out of the alley.

The old man had a white beard, white hair, and age spots all over his face. He was very thin, looking as if a gust of wind could blow him away.

After the old man walked out of the alley, he looked up at Philip in the sky and smiled kindly as he said, "Little one, I wonder if you can spare Arlo's life on my account?" Philip smiled and said, "Sir, may I know why you want to speak up for Arlo? Strictly speaking, he's my enemy. It doesn't seem right to let the tiger back into its den..."

Philip never intended to let Arlo go, but this old man piqued his interest.

The old man grimaced and said helplessly, "We can turn enemies into friends. What do you think, young man?"

Philip raised his eyebrows in surprise and said, "Sir, may I know what's your identity and position for saying this?"

Someone in the crowd said, "The former mayor of Trifecta City, Barry Hood..."

The old man turned to look at the man who spoke and said with a smile, "I didn't expect someone to remember me. I'm flattered..." Hearing this, Philip frowned.

He recalled Lilac telling him yesterday that the former head of the Hood family was a mayor from Trifecta City named Barry.

When Barry stepped down from his position, he was at level seven of the pseudo holy tier according to the current standard. It had been decades since then, and Barry was not an idiot, so he must be at level eight of the pseudo holy tier by now.

Philip could not help but take this seriously, and his wariness increased.

"So, it's old Mr. Hood. Arlo must be your descendant, then..."

Barry nodded with a smile and said, "You're a smart young man. In that case, let's not beat about the bush. Just tell us your purpose. If the Hood family can accept it, we can call it a day. What do you think?" Philip frowned. He could not figure out what Barry was thinking.

If Barry made a move, Philip would certainly be at a disadvantage unless he used everything he had. However, Barry did not!

After thinking for a moment, Philip looked up at Barry and spoke calmly, "I want the Hood family to submit to me..."
