Chapter 3888

After looking around, there was nothing around except the coffin in the middle. Not to mentiontreasures, there was not even a trap around, which exasperated Jagoan.

The deer did not replace anything either, so it crouched down in boredom.

“Don’t you hate stopping? Why are you lying down now?” Jagoan saw the deer’s movements andasked amusedly.

The deer could not even be bothered to answer Jagoan’s words but simply bleated at him in disdain. Itseemed that the deer was really bored for it to do something it disliked.

Jagoan did not waste time with it but walked up to the coffin instead.

Since nothing was found in the tomb, the treasure must be hidden in the coffin. He wasted a lot of effortto lift the cover of the coffin.

When the cover was lifted, a black gust of wind swept out from the coffin.

A burst of terrifying wails followed. This sound was even scarier than the Devouring Ape’s GhostParade earlier, and the wails penetrated Jagoan’s mind.

Seeing this, Jagoan gathered his energy in his mind and blocked the sounds.

However, the deer was not so lucky.

As a divine beast, its mental strength was not as powerful as humans, and it had no techniques toprotect its mind, so it fell into an illusion.

Countless ferocious black shadows with waving claws rushed toward the deer. The shadows did notattack the deer but passed through its body.

The deer thought it was nothing but an illusion, but something frightening happened to it. As everyshadow passed through its body, its energy would decrease at an alarming rate.

Before long, all the deer’s energy would be drained.

At this moment, it panicked a little because it knew very well what that meant. Thus, without thinkingabout it, the deer asked Jagoan for help through telepathic voice transmission.

“Help, this shadow can absorb energy. My energy is almost exhausted!”

Hearing the deer’s voice, Jagoan immediately rushed to the deer‘s side and poured his energy into thedeer’s body, helping it to resist the terrifying wails at the same time.

With Jagoan’s help, the deer felt better instantly, and the wailing was not as scary as before.

However, things could not go on like this. Jagoan’s energy had a limit too. If he was alone, he might beable to sustain it, but he was consuming two sets of energy now. If this went on, he could not hang oneven if he was Superman. Even so, the deer had no way out of this predicament now and could onlyrely on Jagoan’s energy to resist the wailing.

Jagoan knew that it would not end well if this continued either, so he quickly poured a large amount ofenergy into the deer’s body at once, rushed to the coffin in a flash, and covered the coffin with all hismight.

He thought this would stop the wailings, but although the coffin was tightly closed now, the wailingscontinued.

Seeing this, Jagoan was startled.

Without hesitation, he returned to the deer again and poured his energy into the deer.
