"Kylan," Ella said, standing by the doorway as Kylan read a book in her bed. He raised his head, staring at her peeking from the entrance, and she said, "I need to tell you something." Kylan raised an eyebrow, sitting upwards, "What is it?"

After a long sigh, she hissed to somebody hiding behind the wall and then appeared, followed by Bradley, who scratched the back of his head, an uneasy chuckle escaping his lips, "Hi Kylan." Kylan sighed, "Hi Bradley."

"We've been dating for some time now," Ella muttered quietly, avoiding Kylan's gaze, "I really like him, and I don't want you to freak out."

"I already knew Ella," he replied, returning to the novel he was reading.

That caused Kylan and Ella's eyes to widen as she approached him, "You knew?"

"What other reason would there be for Bradley to sit with us?"

Ella tightened her lip into a line, and Bradley laughed, nodding his head, "Yup, I'm in love with this loser."

Bradly rolled his eyes, wrapping an arm around her shoulders, "And I'm in love with her too."

"Glad," Kylan replied dryly, shaking his head and laying back down onto the bed, "lovebirds. Did you come to rub it in my face?"

Ella frowned, "Ky-"

"You were so rude to Jonah when I was with him, and I'm supposed to just be nice to Bradley."

"Kylan," Ella approached the bed, "are you okay?"

His breathing was growing heavier, and as he shook his head, he pushed himself off the bed and grabbed his sweater, plunging it over his head. His moods would switch drastically, and as he headed for the door, passing by Ella and Bradley, he did not say goodbye as he closed the door behind him. The only thing that calmed him down when the tremors started shaking, and he began heaving was the melodies that eased his mind.

So, he found himself in front of Charles's door once again, and Charles raised an eyebrow at him, observing the stress in his face. He crossed his arms, "I'm beginning to wonder if you only need me to listen to my music?"

Kylan shrugged, shuffling on his feet as he sighed, "It helps."

Charles chuckled, stepping aside and allowing Kylan to march past him towards the instrumental room. As they entered the room, Charles closing it behind him, he watched as Kylan sat on the sofa near the piano and waited quietly, attempting to repress his heavy breathing.

Charles, as usual, walked to his piano and grabbed a seat, staring at the keys and thinking of his composed melodies in his mind. However, as he placed his fingers on the keys, Kylan noticed something different. They soon became rigid, and he forced them into a bawl, bringing them back down to his side.

Kylan frowned, "Is something the matter?"

"Yes," Charles breathed, sighing and scratching the side of his head. He paused for a moment and then said, "I feel like you're using me."

Kylan froze, confused at first, and shook his head, "I'm not."

"You're using me because coming here helps when you start to feel anxious or scared about something," he breathed, murmuring those things to himself.

He stood to his feet, "Charles, that's not true."

Charles raised his eyes to meet his gaze with worry, "Kylan, I told you I'm gay. I'm not looking for a friendship with you. I want you to be mine. If you're looking for a shoulder to cry on, I can't be that." He was vulnerable due to the breakup with Jonah, hence why he was assuming Kylan was only approaching him and his home to hear his music and maybe fall asleep peacefully.

Kylan marched towards him, "I mean, I'm obviously not over Jonah yet, but I do like you, Charles."

Charles fell silent for a moment, and a weak smile pulled his lips, "You like me?"

"Yes," Kylan nodded his head, "I do."

"Then let's go out tonight," Charles said, standing to his feet and approaching Kylan, "get belligerently drunk and have fun together. What do you say?"

Kylan was unsure but rapidly nodded his head after he noticed how Charles sadly bit his bottom lip. When Charles's eyes brightened, twinkling with the lights from the room, he also felt his entire body warm. "Where would we go?" "Katie's student council president party is tonight," he mentioned, to which Kylan's face slowly became dry. Charles noticed that and pressed his palms on his shoulders, "I know he's going to be there, but I will too. It's for us to have fun together."

"I don't know."

"Kylan, please," Charles pleaded, tilting his head to the side, "I'm only asking because I need a night out, and I can't stay here."

That was how they ended up at Katie's party. Charles had gelled his hair and helped Kylan with his own, gelling it to the side with one strand falling in front of his eye. He had dressed Kylan in one of his dress shirts, while he wore a polo shirt and a gold chain around his neck. He also wore classy glasses on the tip of his nose that were a bit tinted, and they embraced his look well as he helped Kylan with his shirt, fixing the collar. As Kylan saw the final product of Charles, he fell flustered, not able to look at him for more than a few seconds, or else his entire would fall into a heat.

As Charles straightened his collar, how near they were to each other caused Kylan's eyes to drift from Charles's focused visage and to his puckered lips. Soon, he noticed his lips smirk, and Charles whispered, "You can if you want." Kylan bit his bottom lip, then leaned in, placing his shy ones on Charles, only to be surprised that Charles wanted domination, surrendering to Kylan's tongue as they deepened their kiss, a small moan escaping Kylan's tongue when Charles bit his bottom lip. When they pulled apart, Charles placed his thumb on Kylan's lips and slid it along his bottom lip, seeing that it was a bit redder than a few moments ago.

"I can do something with that," he winked, and Kylan's cheeks flared a bright red, and he turned around, marching towards the exit of Charles' room. Charles laughed, racing after him and gripping the back of his dress shirt, "Relax, it was good, alright. That's all I meant."

Kylan smiled weakly, then said, "We have to get going."

They bought a cab to the party since both of them were going to drink that night, and when they arrived, the place was packed. Students were already outside, a few girls sloppily drunk on the sides, and Kylan and Charles entered the home, squeezing through the crowd and approaching the bar section of the home. The party was at its roar, students dancing and grinding on one another, the music causing such ecstasy to flame the crowd, hormones and drunken minds causing people to behave recklessly.

They had a bartender with drinks, and Charles placed a fifty-dollar bill on the counter, "Five shots for the both of us."

Kylan's eyes widened, "That's a lot at one go."

Charles winked, "Don't be a sissy."

Soon enough, during his third shot, Kylan was shoved into by someone, and then when he turned, he met gaze with a smiling Ella, who wrapped her arms around him, barely able to march properly.

His eyes widened in excitement, and he wrapped his arms around her, smiling as she hugged him tightly, beginning to tear up as she said, "I'm so sorry for bringing Bradley to you like that. It was rude of me. I love you, Ky."

Kylan laughed, sending a hand through her hair, "Ella, I could never be mad at you. I'm sorry too. You're drunk though, who are you here with?"

"Bradley went to see his friends," she then finally noticed Charles, and a bright smiled pulled on her lips as she sloppily reached for him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders, "Charles!"

He laughed, returning the embrace, "How are you, Ella?"

"A bit drunk," when she pulled apart from him, she stumbled backward, and Kylan caught her around her waist. Charles' eyebrows furrowed for a quick second before they fell back into place, smiling as he stared at Kylan and Ella laugh and converse with one another until Bradley appeared.

He had his palms shoved in his front pockets with a blunt in the corner of his mouth, his eyes already bright red as she approached them, "Kylan, didn't think you would come out tonight."

"Charles pushed me to come," he said happily.

Bradley nodded his head, greeting Charles with a short nod, and Ella flung herself onto him, which he enjoyed, her arms grabbing him and her face snuggling in the crook of his chest. He wrapped an arm around her waist. "I was looking for you," he whispered, placing a peck on the top of her hair.

"I found Kylan," she giggled.

He smiled, "I know that. You want a hit of this blunt I'm about to go smoke outside?"

She shook her head, "No, but I'll come with you. I do need some air."

"You'll probably take a hit once we're outside," he smirked knowingly and grabbed her by the wrist since the throng was hard to get by and started making his way to the door on the other side.

Charles smiled, "I got upset for a second since I thought you were flirting with her."

Kylan raised an eyebrow, "Ella's my cousin."

"I didn't know."

"I smell jealousy," Kylan wiggled his eyebrows, reaching for the rest of the shots and taking them.

Charles chuckled timidly, then asked for a few more shots that the bartender soon handed to them. They both took four more shots, and that was enough for Kylan to feel an intense buzz to the point that his legs began feeling like jello, his balance unstable as well. He laughed at Charles, who kept an arm around his shoulders, and Charles soon leaned forward and aggressively placed his lips on Kylan's. His kiss had been different from earlier, him taking the dominance, and whenever Kylan tried, he would fight back. His tongue enveloped Kylan rapidly, which caused Kylan's hormones to begin rushing through his blood.

When they pulled apart, Charles leaned his forehead against Kylan's shoulder, slumped by the shots he had taken, and said, "I really do like you."

Kylan smiled, placing his palm on the back of Charles's head, "I like you too."

"We should have sex tonight," he said bluntly, raising his head and meeting Kylan's shocked eyes. It was his drunk state speaking since Charles would have never said that comfortably if he was sober, "What do you say?"

Kylan gulped, a bit flustered since he said that out loud, but he was also drunk, and that suggestion also made him a bit horny, causing him to rapidly nod his head, grabbing Charles by his collar and pulling him to his lips for another sloppy but warming kiss.

After a moment, they heard someone slam their palm on the counter beside them, and when Kylan raised his eyes, his entire body froze. His tremors started again, and all he wanted to do, even with his drunk state mind, was flee. Jonah had arrived and had placed a hundred dollar bill on the counter; he had not yet noticed them, but he was soon since Kylan could not turn away from him.

As their eyes met, Jonah's eyes widened.
