When she saw so many ingredients, she happily picked up a few of her favorite ones and startedroasting them.

"Little Easton, what do you want to eat? Sister Pen will roast it for you. I will make it delicious.”They were roasting and eating the food. As long as they were not clumsy, they could make a goodmeal. Time passed quickly, and the sky gradually darkened before they closed the stall.

Nothing unpleasant happened during this period. Damian and Penelope were fine, but whether theharmony was permanent or temporary was unknown.

The villa at night was more beautiful than in the day.

Penelope flew her kite happily while Damian stayed in his room to deal with some of the company'sdocuments. Derek sat in the pavilion with Nora bathing in the wind.

The little guy was on the side, playing games on iPad with his headphone on.

Derek narrowed his eyes. He took out a bottle of wine and two glasses and poured one for each ofthem.

"Why are you drinking at night?" Nora shook the wine glass in her hand and smelled it. The aromawas not heavy, but the wine had a mellow fragrance and smelt good.

"It's almost autumn. It is a little cold at night. Drink some wine to warm yourself up. It's okay todrink a little.” Derek said and took a sip.

Nora could not help but take a sip after smelling the fragrance. She did not have a palate for wine.This wine was not as spicy and bitter as other wines. It seemed to have some fruit flavor, and ittasted good.

"What kind of wine is this?" She asked casually and couldn't help but take another sip.

Derek smiled, "Peach blossom wine."

Nora was a little surprised.

"This is unique to the villa. There is a peach grove in the back of the mountain, and the wine isspecially made by a senior winemaker. Almost everyone who comes on vacation will order it," heexplained.

As they chatted over the wine, Derek suddenly said, "Nora, I'm going back to D City next month.”After all, the headquarters of Xavier Group was not in J City. He was the president, and many thingswere much more convenient for him to deal with in the headquarters. Originally, he didn't have tostay in J City for so long, but after Nora's accident, he had decided to stay in J City for the timebeing.

Nora was stunned. It was so sudden that she wasn't prepared at all. She couldn't help but feel a littleconfused.

Derek was going back to D City. Was he... Leaving her?

That was not hard to imagine. He was the president. How could he stay here all the time? But Noranever thought about this before. She didn't even figure out where they were in terms of theirrelationship yet, and how could she think so far away?

Before she could think of anything to say, Derek added, "Come back with me."

Nora suddenly turned to look at him. Derek's eyes were bright in the night, and he was staring ather with seriousness, with... anticipation, and with nervousness.

She silently lowered her eyelids and did not speak.

Before she could finish digesting this, Derek dropped another bomb, "My grandfather alreadyknows about you. He said he wanted me to take you back and meet him."

This was really scary. Nora glared at him, "What meeting? What do you mean? Your grandfathercouldn't have possibly known about me..."

"No, don't worry. The rest of the Xaviers don't know who you really are. For the time being, they justthink that you are a woman who is approved not only by me but also by Easton, so they want to seeyou."

"Besides, it's not a secret about Aubrey and the recent match in D City. It's normal for mygrandfather to want to see you."

Normal? How the hell could that be called normal? She didn't believe it was normal at all.

For some reason, as soon as Nora heard about the Xaviers or meeting the Xaviers, she felt a strongsense of rejection and resistance in her heart.

It made her wonder if she was too nervous or what.

Derek didn't want to give her a chance to escape, so he stood up and leaned over, hugging her inhis arms, "Nora, can't you tell me what's the relationship between us?"
