"If you want to stay here with your mother, you can take a long vacation. I'll take care of thecompany.”

Meredith shook her head.

This was nothing to Derek. But since she was the new design director, people would gossip abouther if she disappeared for a long time before making any achievements.

Derek shook his head. He planned to bring Easton to the hospital. Amelia was Easton'sgrandmother, so how could Easton not pay a visit? But Amelia refused. She was afraid her skinnyappearance would scare the child.

Easton replied, "When grandma gets better, you must take me to see her.”

Both adults promised him.

Coincidentally, Meredith had some things to do. It was inconvenient for Derek to be here. "Eastonmust be bored and lonely at home. You should go home and stay with him. I want to stay with momtoday and look after her.”
