The guardian's sword by Taking Cigarette -
Chapter 2220
Chapter 2220
It was already late at night when the auction ended. When Michael and Theodore left Optimus Security Services, it
was already midnight.
Michael and Theodore left with excitement on their faces.
"Mr. Lennon, there won't be any accidents if we tell them about these plans, will there?"
Zander asked, looking at Sean's back as they stood before the floor-to-ceiling window of the office.
Sean looked away from the window and said with a smile," If we can't even trust these two elders, we have no
more friends in Ocean City."
Zander fell silent at that, but there was still a faint hint of concern in his eyes.
"I know what to do. I need you and the boys to work hard tonight to get rid of those rats hiding in the dark."
Sean said again as if sensing Zander's concern.
Zander immediately nodded and said coldly, "It's just an assassin organization based in Ocean City that will be gone
before dawn tomorrow."
With that said, Zander turned around and left the office.
Soon, there was the roar of engines in Optimus Security Services' parking lot, and the specially reinforced
Hummers roared away into the night.
"I'm afraid you don't know I'm already aware of Crimson's relationship with the Lake family!"
Sean looked up at the stars and whispered.
At the Lake family's mansion, Curtis, who was wrapped in a bath towel, called his bodyguard.
"Tell Bloodhand to deploy all of Crimson's assassins to kill Sean."
Curtis said faintly as he took a sip of his red wine.
Hearing this, the bodyguard froze slightly before asking in confusion, "Sir, Sean only has some security staff around
him. Is it necessary to deploy the entire of Crimson?"
"You don’t understand... Do as I say!"
Curtis glanced at him as his voice became a little colder.
Aware of the change in Curtis' tone, the bodyguard paused and hurriedly left after replying in acknowledgment.
After the bodyguard left, Curtis took the wine glass and walked to the room's floor-to-ceiling window.
Looking out the window at the colorful lights that illuminated the entire Ocean City, Curtis had an inexplicable look
in his eyes.
"You're just an outsider. The Lake family owns Ocean City. What can you do?"
Curtis' actions at this moment were surprisingly similar to Sean's actions in the office. It was as if they were both
talking to each other.
In a mountain valley not far from Ocean City, the ground shook slightly as if some behemoth was rushing toward it
from a distance.
Vroom! Vroom! Vroom!
Soon, the roar of car engines broke the silence of the mountain valley.
Hummers came rushing into the valley like a herd of steel giants.
After the vehicles stopped and had their engines turned off, burly figures walked down from the cars.
"Brother Zander, I think there's a car following us."
Daniel leaned over to Zander and whispered.
Zander turned around to glance at the endless darkness behind him and said disdainfully, "It's just a rat. Let Elton
get rid of it."
"Alright, I'll ask him to go over," Daniel answered.
Elton soon disappeared into the night. No one knew where he went.
"How dare these guys strike Mr. Lennon? I wonder if they’re ready to accept death?”
Daniel looked into the depths of the mountain valley and whispered coldly.
Zander also said, "You've worked for Mr. Lennon for so long that you probably know why Mr. Lennon founded
Optimus
Security Services."
