The King's Omega -
The King’s Omega – Chapter 3
—Thiago! —Someone shouted behind him and he could only roll his eyes before turning around.
– What do you want? —He asked irritably. He was the last person he wanted to see.
“I really missed you, love, you left and didn’t tell me anything,” the girl hung her arms around his neck.
“You know I prefer to go to my meetings alone,” she turned around. Don’t hug me if I don’t ask you and let’s avoid problems between both of us.
—But you always go with me, this time you left me here alone—the beta stood in front of him with false innocence.
— I don’t know what’s going through your head, you’re not my partner, you’re not my girlfriend, you’re not my fiancée, you’re not my wife. “You are nothing, so just stay in your place,” he said angrily.
— But I thought he was your partner, we have slept together for more than two winters. Why do you treat me like that? “I didn’t do anything to you,” she saw how her eyes crystallized.
— Lucy, you are nothing more than one of my concubines, one more on my list. So you better continue with your work in the castle. Because I’m tired of you and your whims —she turned around to leave.
— You can’t do this to me, Thiago. “I won’t be one of those you put aside, after using them as you please,” she told him through clenched teeth.
Thiago, upon hearing that threat, turned back and looked at her furiously; no one dared to threaten him, especially not in that way. He was a king who always put his people first, however, he did not tolerate disrespect towards his person.
— Don’t threaten me, you’re nobody. You just have to continue with what you were doing and that’s it. “It’s all over, I’m tired of you, of your senseless jealousy, your place is simply that of servitude and nothing more, so don’t look for me because you replace me and in a bad way,” he walked away from her.
“You will return to me, my king, I assure you of that,” she said through clenched teeth before turning around and going to her room to think about what it was that changed her lord so much that he treated her that way.
In the curly girl’s room the little omega was looking out the window towards the garden of that place, she was only looking at a specific place. She saw the most beautiful person her eyes had ever seen. Which is the brunette with short hair on the sides and a unique smile on her lips. Her heart stopped when he turned to look at her, he smiled at her and at no one else in that place.
She felt the earth shift beneath her feet and then smiled back at him, then leaned back. She lay on the bed smiling like a hypnotized idiot.
The next morning, the curly girl prepared her bath, because no one had dared to visit her since she entered the room. She was someone who didn’t talk much and having a friend in that place was not a good option for her.
He sat on the bed, singing a song, and looking at the balcony with boredom. The sun continued to rise, and Thiago never went to visit her, much less anyone dared to feed her something that morning. He went to the window and sat in front of it. There were not many employees, in her old home everyone ran from one place to another, to finish their work for fear of ending up on the gallows.
—Why didn’t you want to eat? —Thiago stood next to her —. Did you not like the food my servants brought for you?
“I had no idea what my food was waiting for me,” he stood up. When you came?
—A few minutes ago—the alpha put his hands behind his back—. Please don’t stop eating for anything in the world, okay?
“I understand,” he went towards the room. Where did you see my food?
“On one of the tables in the hallway,” he replied. “Wait here, I’ll go look for it for you.”
“You don’t need to do it,” she wanted to grab him, but she walked away from her as if he had some illness. Sorry, I forgot her.
—You don’t have to apologize—Thiago grabbed his hand—. “I want to hold you.” They went out into the hallway. My servants said you didn’t want to eat.
“I didn’t really hear them call me,” she watched as the alpha took the tray as if it were nothing. It was my mistake, not listening to them.
“It’s okay,” she wanted to show him a smile. These are things that are not in our control.
“I understand,” they re-entered the room. “You can be wherever you like in the castle, no one will mess with you,” he said confidently, however, Dayana was not convinced of that. Here we are a country very devoted to our religion and we do not look for problems.
“I understand,” she took the plates and placed them on the table. Thank you for coming to visit me. This place is huge and I have no idea if I can do anything.
—It’s okay—Thiago caressed his cheek—. “The more time I spend with you, the more I like being around you.” She looked for a chair to sit down. Eat, I will take you to a place where you can be and breathe a little of nature.
“I prefer not to go out,” she said uncomfortably. “I’ll stay here.”
“I didn’t bring you here so you could stay locked in the room all the time,” he murmured. I ask you to come out. Nobody will hurt you.
“Okay, I’ll go out,” he scratched his arm.
“Enjoy the food,” he stood next to her. I had it made especially for you.
—Thank you—the first bite had to be thrown on the plate, because he chewed small stones—. I’m sorry.
– What the hell is this?
— I promise I’ll keep eating — he tried to put the food back in his mouth, but he stopped her.
“Don’t eat that,” he threw the plate on the floor. Wait here, don’t leave the room unless I come for you.
“I understand,” he murmured, shrinking in place.
She was scared by the way she reacted. She was used to everyone turning their back on her, not looking at her the right way or simply being disgusted, because she was someone different from everyone else.
Her father punished her every time she left the room and went to the gardens or the library secretly to look for a book and read it. At that moment she wanted to be out of people’s reach, where no one could see her to tell her that she was a damn freak.
His mother, who died because of him that day and who, thanks to that, earned the hatred of his father and all the inhabitants of the north. But, now that she was with that wonderful being like Thiago, everything seemed to be perfect. He let out a long sigh, standing and staring at a fixed point waiting for the alpha to enter. But another person came in that he had only seen in the distance from the balcony.
—What is someone like you doing in this place? —the beta asked, looking at her with disgust. You are the most disgusting thing, you are a shame to omegas.
“I don’t understand what he means by that, ma’am,” she whispered hurt. I didn’t do anything to make him talk to me that way.
“I don’t have to know you to know the type of person you are, an easy woman,” he spat. You’ve only been there for a day and you already have the king at your feet. Don’t you believe in curses? You’re a.
“I’m not that,” she felt her lips tremble. I want to be alone.
“Eat what’s on the floor,” the beta ordered proudly. I made it for you, you disgusting being.
“The king told me that he shouldn’t eat that,” she stood up and walked away. I ask her to please leave or I will tell her…
“You won’t tell her anything,” she grabbed her arm tightly. Because you will eat what is on the floor, then you will go to the balcony and jump from there… to end your life.
—Why would I do something like that?
“Because you’re not welcome,” he said. “Don’t tell Thiago what just happened or else you’ll have to deal with me and everyone who lives here,” he didn’t respond. Was it clear to you?
– Yes ma’am.
“I like it that way,” she sighed, and then Lucy showed her a huge smile. See you later.
That beta left, leaving her alone again. Her hands began to shake.
— Here’s something to eat — the king entered, with a tray in his hands — Someone will pick this up in a few minutes.
“Thank you,” she murmured, feeling more hurt than she had before. This is a nice gesture.
“It is,” he winked at her.
Her stay in that place would be a big problem for her, because she was not welcome.
