Chapter 58

I slowly came to noticing that I was in control of my mind so I knew I had shifted back. I still felt like I was lost in the dark but I could hear voices around me. I couldn’t tell who they were and I couldn’t sniff them out. I was like my wolf strengths were gone.

“How did you get them to let you move in here?” I think that was my dad. It could have been Jared but I don’t think he would question someone like that.

“This is my daughter and I go where she goes. I know this will happen two more times but I will be there for both so get ready to drive to her when she replaces her other mates. I don’t care where they are! Got me?” Mom was awake? I missed her waking up? She’s going to be my roomie in the hospital? I thing that is great. She can handle my worry wart mates.

“Is she awake yet?” I could hear how out of breath they were when then entered the room. It was either Andrew or Blake from the tone.

Everyone was here all of my mates, my parents, and even Trixie. I felt this weight laying beside me and I knew it was her. Please let me wake up. Come on. ‘Blue why can’t we get up? I need you girl.’ No reply just like last time. I just need to roll with the punches so when I do wake up I’ll see everybody which will help everyone feel better.

When I did finally open my eyes everyone tried to run to my bedside but there wasn’t enough room. I told them to sit back down and relax. I told them that everything was fine. My body just felt exhausted and so did Blue. After a night in the hospital I will be ready to kick some training butt. My mates all told me No at the same time which pissed me off. It made my mother giggle. I side eyed her with a glare and she blew me a k**s. What a goof ball.

“How long was I out this time?” I can’t remember how long I was out last time but I think it was just a few hours.

“About ten hours this time. It gets longer each time and I am over it. Are you sure you need the next two mates? I can pretend to be three different people. Ill add in accents.” Andrew askes as his eyes pleaded with me.

‘Sorry, sweetie. They are a piece of me just you are. You all are important in different ways. But for right now I would love to k**s each of you and send you to take care of the pack. They need more training and so do you. I will be ready in a few days to take some beatings in training.” I tried to lift both arms to have them come to me but one was being weighed down by Trixie still. I smiled at her and looked to see my mates smiling at her as well.

They each gave me a gentle k**s before leaving to go take care of some business. They each promised me they would be back this evening. They looked at mom when they told me they would be sleeping in the room with us. She nodded and it made me happy. Dad went ahead and took Trixie home as well so that mother and I could talk.

“Hey Baby. I think you should take a day of rest and see your friends. They want to take you shopping and I think it is a great idea. What do you say?” Blake asked me before heading out.

“It sounds good to see them but terrible about shopping. Can’t they suggest a theme park or an arcade?” I g*****d. Blake just laughed at me and walked out.

The rest of the day was just Mom and I talking before taking naps here and there. She explained what happened to here when we were fixing the bad vibes at the witches death site. I was right that it was just too much for her and they had put in a few extra precautions to keep the area dark. She texted her witch friend that helped with my necklace issue and she is going to come help in a few days. I nodded in agreement as long as she stayed away from the site until then. I barely got an agreement but when I did I made sure to take note to put extra guards by the site.

“Ryder, have you thought anymore on your Mating ceremony? Now that you have five mates it will have to be bigger or made into two ceremonies.” My mom looked at my sympathetically. “Do you know what happens at these ceremonies?”

“Not exactly. I just want the pack to know and for us to move on about it.” I replied as I sat up straighter in the bed. I had a feeling I wouldn’t like the answer I got about what they do exactly.

“well normally you would wait to mark each other until this ceremony but you already did that with each of your mates so probably a remarking. Saying some fancy words. Back in the old days you would mate as wolves in front of the pack excluding the children.

Now it’s a pack run where toward the end the wolves part ways so you can mate as wolves alone.” Mom turned a bit pink in her cheeks when saying this.

“Mom are you embarrassed for me or feeling a bit shy?” I teased her.

“I am just thinking five guys. Your gonna be sore.” She laughed before snorting. I was picturing it with her and I had to agree.

“Well damn. Ok. When are you and the others planning it for? I told you before I don’t care what it entails. I just want to get it done with since it’s a pack ritual. They need a break from the violence and this gives them a chance to party.”

“In a few days so that you can start going harder on your lessons with Jared and taking lessons from me. You will have a lot on your plate so that when you head out in a few months you will be ready for anything.” She put her hand out and I grabbed it with mine.

“Sounds good. I guess I am going to need to nap while I can since tomorrow I am having a friends day…Shopping.” I made a disgusted face before smiling. I was so excited to see them and update them in person. I just hated trying things on for hours. I like to replace my size and just pick stuff out.
