Chapter 62

When we made it to the training grounds most of the pack was already there and Melanie was already within the circle talking smack to anyone who would listen.

“I didn’t think you would actually show your face after the show you put on earlier.” She sneered as she took her place in the ring.

“If it makes you feel better I didn’t even know you had a thought in your head. Let’s just do this.” She glared at me and it didn’t even phase me.

“Ok. Fair fight ladies. The winner is the last one alive and standing.” Knox announced before stepping back into the crowd with his brother.

“Well let’ see this big bad wolf of yours!” She laughed like it was a joke. I swear she gets stupider every time she opens her mouth.

“Sorry. You won’t ever see her. I plan on killing you not my wolf.” I winked at her.

I could tell she thought she was going to win when I didn’t shift. They always get cocky when things seem the easiest. She pranced on her feet giving a show which had her group laughing thinking I was weaker than I put on.

‘She won’t be laughing when she is bleeding to death at my feet!’ Blue growled angerly. I closed my eyes to feel her and help her calm down a bit.

I heard her paws hitting the ground in a run coming at me but I still kept my eyes closed. I was deciding if I should toy with her or not. Giving her a quick death made it easier on her and it solved my problem faster.

‘Don’t toy with her. Get this over with so we can deal with her followers. We have positioned ourselves close to them so we can take them out before they get to you.’ Kane stated. I knew he had linked our mate group by the following agreements.

‘Fine. Ruin our fun after the s**t she has caused.’ I linked back as I turned around sidestepping where she was aiming and grabbing her by the scruff of her neck and holding her back.

I pulled back hard and threw her back across the training field. She landed with a thud and a whine which made me smile. She tried to get up but fell back down. She didn’t work out enough to keep the strength up in her body.

‘Ok. Toy with her just a little. I liked the smile that was on your face!’ Knox winked at me and the others just looked irritated. I don’t think they think of this as fun. Weird.

Melanie had gotten up and growled at me. I just stood there waiting on her to try something else. She took a few steps closer before starting to circle me trying to replace a wink spot.

‘I hate that we ended up this way. If you had just let me take Andrew as my mate we could have been besties. After all he took my virginity and told me I was his before you came along.’ I could hear the hurt and the enjoyment of hurting me in her voice.

‘You are just trying to distract me so you can attack. I had my eyes closed last time and you still didn’t get a bite in.’ I linked her back with a smile. If she doesn’t do something soon I am going to have to take her out sooner than I wanted.

‘I would never. I want to win fair and square. I have to win since Andrew needs a real woman by his side. He hates sharing and I hate that this arrangement is hurting him.’ Her wolf whined and look at Andrew. Did her wolf agree with her crazy a*s?!

“Hey Andrew.” I yelled loud enough the whole pack could hear.

“Yea baby?” He knew I had something up my sleeve.

“It seems Melanie and her wolf are under the impression that I have hurt you hate to share. Also Melanie says you were her first?” I knew she was lying and I was going to show it to everyone. This would make her attack out of anger and Id get this over with.

“I was Melanie’s first! She told me she wanted it over with so she could learn the best tricks to seduce an alpha!” A man about my age yelled from the crowd. Melanie looked at him and growled.

“Yea she was with several pack members and humans from the school before I even noticed her. I would never take someone’s virginity unless I loved them.” He winked at me and I may have blushed a little. “Also I love that you have several mates to take care of you inside and outside of the bedroom. The extra protection is a plus so you will never have someone take you from us.”

“Thanks baby.” I barely finished my two words before she attacked again.

She ran at me before leaping. I waited until I could see her eyes up close and I saw that she believed she had won. I grabbed her by her throat and held her body up for everyone to see. I was proving a point. I eyed down everyone who had believed her and who had followed her willingly before I snapped her neck. I dropped her body with its final thud and wiped my hands on my pants.

“ANYONE WHO STILL SUPPORTS HER BOGUS CLAIMS OR STILL BELIEVES HER LIES NEEDS TO PACK UP AND LEAVE HERE BY TOMORROW MORNING! WE ARE ONE PACK AND TOGETHER WE WILL RISE ABOVE OUR LIMITATIONS TO BECOME SRONGER THAN EVER! WE CAN ONLY DO THAT IF WE WORK TOGETHER AND STICK BY EACH OTHERS SIDES! I WILL ALWAYS HAVE YOUR BACK AND I WILL PROTECT ANYONE HERE UNTIL MY LAST BREATH. THE PACK NEEDS THE SAME COMMITEMENT FROM EACH OF YOU SO WE CAN WIN THIS WAR! WE ARE STRONG, WE ARE BRAVE, AND WE ARE LOYAL TO OUR PACK!” I scream almost losing my voice at the end when I started crying.

It was dead silent for only a second but after that it was full of yelling, clapping, singing, and just being rowdy because they were excited for the future. It made my heart happy seeing all the faces with smiles. I noticed that Melanie’s group had left which was a good thing and it could become a bad thing. What if she joins up with a rival pack or even rogue’s to take us out? We will need to patrol more and double check who is actually loyal if they had anything to do with that group.

“Now the followers. All those who followed Melanie will be punished. The severity depends on you and the actions you have taken. I know most of the followers just didn’t know who to believe and that blame is partially on me. I should have spent more time with you all and shown you what a true royal leader is capable of. Most of the blame is on you for not standing your ground and making sure to replace out the truth.” I walked in a circle looking at all of them. Most had their heads down in shame and I understood where they were coming from. Fear of the unknown can do that to you so this is something we needed to change.

“What about the followers who knew better or even pushed Melanie farther? They helped start all of this!” Someone yelled from the crowd and yells of agreement rang out.

“Calm down everyone. I know that today has been long and trying. We all deserve a good nights rest so that this can be handled in the correct manner.” I nod at the guys when I see them near the main group who was behind this. “For the group of Melanie’s parents, Lindsey and her parents, Emily and her parents, and any other family member we saw with her is to be put in the dungeons until we can figure out a plan to see what they have done to harm this pack.” The pack agreed with the loudest shout every coming from them. I heard the m***s and screams of distress coming from the families my men and warriors were grabbing.

‘Tomorrow morning before I go shopping we need to search their houses to see if they are in contact with a rival pack or even vampires/witches. We need to know what all the said about the pack and fix it.’ I linked the beta’s, Alpha in training Sandra, and my mates. They linked back agreeing.
