The Love that Never Really Dies (Sasha and Sebastian) -
Chapter 828
Sasha's jaw dropped for a long while as she stared at the phone screen.
She could not believe that Sebastian mentioned the kids even before returning to his primarypersonality.
He even wanted to bring them to Oceanic Estate.
What happened to him all of a sudden? I thought he had not recovered yet. If he has no memoriesof the kids, how will he face them? Plus, Calvin's death proves someone is targeting the kids. Isn't heafraid the kids might get into trouble if they come here?
Sasha kept staring at the text while her mind was filled with befuddlement.
"Who is it? Is that him?” Judging from Sasha's look, Jonathan knew who sent the message rightaway.
After hesitating for a long while, Sasha eventually showed Jonathan the text message.
"He says that Ms. Hayes knows where the three kids are. He asks you to arrange for the kids tocome here.”
As unexpected, Jonathan's eyes widened with shock upon seeing that message.
But his shock only lasted for a few seconds, as it got immediately replaced by joy.
Of course, he would be delighted as he would meet his great-grandchildren shortly.
With that, Jonathan immediately went downstairs and made a call to Sabrina.
Sabrina got left in total awe. “Did My brother ask you to replace me? How did he..."
She wanted to ask how Sebastian found out that she knew about the kids’ whereabouts, as she haddenied it entirely throughout the time in Oceanic Estate.
Jonathan sneered, “He's forgetful, but not dumb!”
Sabrina was rendered speechless upon hearing that.
In the end, she obediently revealed the whereabouts of the two kids.
After replaceing out, Jonathan brought his men and went to Miralaea personally.
He comprehended the bodyguard captain's analysis fully.
Thus, he did not dare to leave this matter in others’ hands. He wanted to make sure of the safety ofthe kids.
Sasha had mixed feelings when she saw Jonathan go to replace the kids personally.
She had never forgiven him all this while.
After all, the whole family ended up like this because of him.
Hence, there was no way she would accept him so quickly.
But now that she saw how he acted personally to protect the kids’ safety, she did not know how toreact to it.
“Mr. Hayes, why do you want to bring the kids here suddenly? Aren’t you afraid that they might getinto danger?”
After Jonathan left, the room door on the third floor finally opened.
Sasha would come up to send food or to check up on his body. In all, she would come up morethan seven times in a day.
And this question had been sticking in her throat for a long while.
At that moment, Sebastian was standing by the window, staring at the scenery outside.
Since he opened his room's door two days ago, he had been utterly quiet. Sometimes, he wouldstand by the window for hours. It made Sasha somehow uneasy.
After hearing Sasha's question, he raised his brows slightly and answered, “It's because I'm here.”Sasha was loss for words.
Her worries faded instantly upon hearing Sebastian's reply.
That's right. If he's here, he'll protect them well. Whether or not he remembers, the bond of a fatherwill be there.
After coming out of the room, Sasha started to worry about her daughter's situation.
Sasha texted: Sabrina, what did you say when you mentioned Vivi to Jonathan?
Sabrina texted back: What else could I say? I said what you told me to, that she was sick and gotsent to another place by my brother.
Sasha was rendered speechless.
This is so awkward... but I can't think of another excuse...Vivian is, in fact, here in this place.
Putting down the phone, Sasha did not further think about this matter. On the other hand, shebegan worrying about her two sons. Will they be obedient if they meet Jonathan suddenly?
Little did she know that Vivian had already informed the two boys in Miralaea about what happenedaround here.
Vivian texted: Brother Cal is dead. I'm really sad.
Meanwhile, Matteo was sitting on the villa staircase, filled with worries. He had not received anynews from Vivian for over two days.
On the other hand, lan was also overwhelmed with sorrow.
As he grew up in the Hayes Residence, Calvin's death was a big blow to him.
So who exactly caused his death?
“I want to avenge him!” He clenched his fists in profound exasperation.
Matteo cast a glance at him and reminded, “How do you want to do it? We don't even know whokilled him.”
They witnessed Calvin's death through Vivian's hairpin, but they could not see what he wrote onSebastian's palm before his last breath.
