The Lycan Series
Bullied By The Lycan King Chapter 31

Violet's POV

The moment he forced himself inside of me, I felt pain so excruciating, my scream tore through the sheet he had used to block out my words.

The tears in my eyes increased and I thought I would pass out from the pain.

Axel froze and I squeezed my eyes tight, nothing wanting to see his face. All I wanted was for him to move out of me. The longer he stayed the more painful it became.

It felt like he was tearing through me with his sharpness. And that wasn't all, a warm painful trickle started from somewhere within me and my heart broke. Axel had taken my virginity.

"Fuck!" He hissed and pulled himself out of me.

I thought the pain would go away as he left me but the burning sensation remained.

"Fuck!" He hissed again and I felt his hands moved to loosen the gag he had placed around my mouth.

The bed dipped and I heard the sound of his belt moving. Despite my pain, I opened my eyes and saw that he was hurriedly putting on his clothes.

"You should get a bath," he mumbled before quickly walking out of the room.

I wanted to leave the bed but I found myself unable to move as the pain between my legs only burned stronger.

The trickle also continued. So I reached two of my fingers between my legs and felt the warm liquid.

As I brought it to my face, my brain registered the metallic smell of blood before my eyes even settled on it.

The sight of the blood was a harsh reminder of what had just happened.

The dam of tears in my eyes broke and I started crying. Axel had taken my virginity.

He didn't believe me when I told him and he had pushed forcefully into me and then...

"Oh, my God!" I breathed, clutching my stomach as the pain in my heart began to exceed the one between my legs.

What would become of me now? I had thought that being bought by Axel was not going to be like the others. I thought he was going to be nice to me. I thought our past relationship would mean something to him. I thought he would...

I couldn't even bring my subconscious to say what I wanted from Axel because I knew that I could never have it and this was the final proof I needed to seal my heart away from him.

He was only my retribution. Something so close yet so far away.

I didn't know how long I curled myself on that bed and cried my eyes out. When my throbbing heart calmed and the pain between my legs reduced, I slowly, got up and dragged my body to his bathroom.

I couldn't go to my room with blood caked around my legs and since he gave the permission, I turned on his shower and used his soap to wash clean.

I tried not to think of anything as I washed myself clean.

When I was done, I stood in front of his mirror and stared at my reflection. My blue eyes were paralyzed. I could almost not recognize my blonde hair as it paled in front of me.

My eyes were swollen from all the tears and I looked like a broken porcelain doll. How was I going to survive this place if I could be so easily broken?

"You need to be brave, Violet!" I said out loud. I needed to take charge of my life. I had to be stronger.

I sniffled away my tears and moved away from the mirror. I picked up a small towel I saw hanging on the bathroom door and wiped my body clean from the water.

He had torn my clothes and there was nothing for me to wear. So I moved to his wardrobe and borrowed whatever large shirt I could replace.

It was already late, all I had to do was borrow it and rush back to my room. Hopefully, everyone was asleep, so no one would see me.

"I will return the shirt tomorrow," I spoke to no one in particular.

I quickly slipped the shirt on and moved back to the bed. My blood had caked a greater half of the bed.

My heart soiled and it felt heavy on my chest. Tears danced in my eyes but I refused to cry. I have done enough of that.

I dragged the bedsheet from the bed and moved it to the basket of dirty clothes. Thankfully, I was in charge of washing everything in his room. No one else had to know of what happened here tonight. After spreading a new sheet on the bed, I moved out of the room and walked quickly to my quarters.

As I had hoped, the mansion was silent. The corridors were empty. I scurried to my room and only let out a sigh as I pulled the door open and stepped in without barging into a guard who could perhaps recognize Axel's shirt. "Isn't that the King's shirt?"

I jumped out of my skin at the sound of the voice behind me. I turned with my hand on my chest, only to replace Savannah standing before my bed.

"What the hell?" I hissed, taking large breaths to calm myself. "What are you doing here?"

She moved rapidly like someone whose a*s was on fire and she came to where I stood and sniffled the air around me.

"Oh, holy goddess! You used the King's bathing soap?! You are even wearing his shirt!" She screeched and all I could do was look at her with a cautious eye.

If the pain I had just experienced was what she went through each time Axel called for her, then she must surely be going crazy from the continuous pain.

"I am asking you a question, you slut!" She screamed at me with her sharp claws.

I had no claws but I wasn't about to let her terrorize me for a third time.

I moved away from her incoming claws and this seemed to anger her the more as she threw caution to the wind and let out a wild battle cry as she came at me.

But the door to my room opened and her sharp claws never reached me.

"Calm yourself Savannah!" The widow's harsh voice echoed in the room and I snapped my eyes in her direction.

As if she had read my mind. She turned her head to me. "My room is just down the hall from yours. I heard her yelling!"

"Let me go! I have to teach this slut a lesson!" Savannah yelled. She was struggling to pull herself out of the Widow's grip but she failed.

"The only slut I see here is you!" The widow retorted and Savannah stopped fighting to let out a dramatic gasp.

"You think she will do a better job for you? You think I am no longer important to the King?" She hissed and my brows furrowed.

Her words seemed to have frozen the widow and Savannah used the opportunity to pull herself out of her grasp and moved to the door.

"I will prove my importance to the King. And when I do that, this thing! Will be on the executioner's board! I promise you that!" She said through her teeth before waltzing out of the room.

I moved my eyes away from the door to the Widow with my brows arched. "What was that about?"

"I thought you would have learned how to be polite!" She hissed and waved her dress around and started moving toward the door herself.

Quickly, I scurried to where she was headed and held her arm. "Did you contract Savannah for this? Does she work for you?"

Her head dropped to my hand on hers and she raised my veiled head again. "The only reason why I won't claw off your filthy fingers right now is because you smell a lot like him!" Her voice was cold and I knew this wasn't a baseless threat. She was going to hurt me.

I removed my hand from her arm and awkwardly moved it to my sides.

"Now that you have had sex. I hope you will do well to gain his trust. And attack when I tell you to..." Her evil yet elegant voice echoed into my ears as she walked out of my room. I rushed to the door and closed it with the key. Then I rested against it and took deep breaths.

What did I just replace out?

Did Savannah work for the widow? This meant she also planned on killing Axel!

I had to tell someone. I had to warn someone immediately.

I didn't trust the woman at all. As much as she promised to help me, I found her creepy. She was the kind of partner that cheated the other party.

Besides, as much as I wanted my parents to be freed, I didn't want it to be at the expense of Axel's life.

He might have stolen my pride from me, but I still couldn't just stand by and let the widow kill him.
