each other.

Five good years of happiness, love, and passion but above all, five years of euphoria with my family and friends. Today is Aerys fifth birthday and all his little friends and cousins are here. The king and Queen of Lycans are here too, still can't keep their hands off "Hey!" Queen Anaiah smiled at me as she walked into the kitchen, and all the staff bowed low to her.

"Do you need help, Cali?" She asked.

"We are done here... Let's take these to the buffet table," I said, handing her a bowl and I carried the other. We placed them on the table and turned to the men who were drinking while barbecuing. Michael joined us too since his son is Aerys' friend as well. "Where's Love?" Anaiah asked.

"She went to her grandmother's place after camp," I informed her. Dean was supposed to bring her today but something came up so she's coming tomorrow.

Anaiah glanced down at my stomach and I eyed her questioningly. She smiled and caressed her belly fondly.

"No way, really?"

"Yes,"

"You need to stop copying me!" I exclaimed and she laughed, touching my almost visible bump now.

"Looks like our kids will be close in age again, I'm so excited, Cali,"

Nicholas and Aerys were born a month apart and are close too. My eyes roved to my son, instead of watching the performing clowns, he was playing with his cousin.

Nicholas was whispering something to Aerys and soon his hands were engulfed in dark blue flames. Anaiah instantly rushed to him and the boy's fire disappeared, leaving his cousin gasping and clapping in excitement.

Nicholas is not only a Lycan Alpha but was born with magic too, making him the most gifted and powerful supernatural being in the world. The boy is barely five years old yet he could shift in his Lycan form.

"Baby, we talked about this. You can't do this... it's dangerous," Anaiah scolded her son. His head hung low and she kissed him which made the kid's sapphire blue eyes light up, and she stroked Aerys' hair before leaving the two boys to play. A car approached and I smiled as I went closer,

"Arya!" I shouted, hugging my sister-in-law. She got out of the car. Her kids, Rose, and Eric came out, I greeted them and they ran to their cousins in the garden.

"I'm sorry we are late but Rose couldn't replace her favorite tiara and we couldn't replace Chad until Leon called me to tell us that he traveled with them," I raised my eyebrow at her and she pointed her finger at me in exhaustion.

"I'm sorry we are late but Rose couldn't replace her favorite tiara and we couldn't replace Chad until Leon called me to tell us that he traveled with them," I raised my eyebrow at her and she pointed her finger at me in exhaustion.

"Don't judge me with those eyes, you only have two, and one of them is so sweet and responsible, I have three and their favorite pastime is making me scream. Can I have some wine?" She said quickly and I chuckled. Jacob came to her side and kissed her temple. He stared at her proudly.

"You're doing amazing babe, a whole month has gone by without losing one at the mall or forgetting the other at the park!" He assured her and I laughed harder. Those kids are mischievous, and indeed, they make Princess Arya run around in heels a lot. Arya scoffed and elbowed her husband.

"Don't insult me," She hissed and went to the garden.

"Hello, Caliana," Alpha Jacob greeted me with a smile and kissed my cheek.

"Welcome," I directed him to the boys before I joined the girls who were drinking wine heavily. I scowled.

"Shouldn't you be keeping your eyes on the kids? And what are you doing here Kelly, your daughter isn't even here," I said sitting down and Carol gave me a glass of wine. Arya and the Queen soon joined us, with Arya carrying a huge bottle of wine. "Where's Rhea?" Luna Hope asked, the times we get together, she joined.

"And is it true she's pregnant?" Carol asked, curious about other people's business as ever.

"No, she was pregnant nine months ago!"

We chatted a while longer and the ladies were getting disoriented with all the drinking. Only Anaiah and I were sober, and soon, a mob of kids came to demand cake again.

"You've been promising us cake for hours and it's not here yet!" Chad said, stomping his feet in annoyance. His little crew backed him up.

"Yes! Is there cake?" Decan's daughter asked. They all started talking at once and seeing I couldn't pacify them, Anaiah ditched me and ran to her mate.

"Coward!" I yelled out to her.

"The cake is coming, just be patient and give me ten more minutes," I smiled at them, and they went back to their games.

I searched for Pauline's scent as she was in charge of the cake and it led me to her room. I regretted not knocking because she was in there with Jamal, naked on the bed. "Luna!" They exclaimed as they covered themselves. I closed my eyes and faced the other way.

"Sorry, thought you guys broke up," The two dated for a while but ended things.

"We just got back together," Pauline said. I knew they would, she was head over heels for him and Jamal is opening up his heart for her. I was glad. Jamal is the best and kindest man to me, and a terrific uncle to his niece and nephew. He needed a woman like my little cupid by his side to make his life brighter and more colorful.

"Cake- Cake, I came to ask about the cake," I said.

"The baker was perfecting it when I went there so I asked Marcos to bring it," She said and I almost fell to my knees. That cake is not getting here anytime soon.

Leaving the room, I tried to mind link Marcos but it wasn't connecting, probably out there chasing that woman of his. I was getting desperate now. So, I did what I do when I'm in distress. Hide in the pantry. I heard a knock on the door

"I'm not here." I meekly answered, the door opened and my mate extended his hand to me. I took it and he hugged me.

"You're stressing too much," He sighed. I inhaled his scent to calm me and pulled away from the hug.

"Five-year-olds are so demanding, they are out there protesting as we speak, led by one of your nephews," I croaked, pouting.

"Damn," He muttered and cupped my face, giving me a tiny kiss on my lips. The kiss quickly turned into an intense one as his fingers made their way to caress my b****t and when he licked my neck, I was a goner.

'Cake is here, woman, all that mind-linking gave me a migraine, Marcos' voice rang in my head, and I was relieved to hear that. We went outside and found Queen Anaiah and King Leondre taking care of the kids.

After the party and getting everyone settled in their rooms, my mate took me to our spot on the tallest mountain, we were in an embrace, watching our pack.

"I adore you, my Meyers, and thank you for staying with me," He said softly, holding me tighter in his arms.

"And I love you, Edward Chasia,"
