Chapter 11

Katrina's POV

Yes, Katrina?" Silas interrupted me like I wasn't about to explain to him,

My eyes met with the girl standing behind Silas like she was seeking protection, and my blood boiled. She stared at me with a smug look on her face, pulling one of her eyelids down with her tongue stuck out. The little bitch.

She knew Silas was coming and she wanted to frame me. She wanted me to get in trouble with Silas.

Td come for her later, but now I needed to replace a way to get myself out of this situation with Silas

Anger bubbled through when I saw the way she held Silas' shirt.

I folded my fingers into a fist and I raised my eyes to glare at Silas.

"I didn't do it. She doesn't have any marks on her body. How could I have hit her? You didn't even check if she was lying."

Silas turned to look at the maid and her face blanched. She shook her head, stuttering out incoherent sentences.

She didn't face anything to back that up. Cause tho I did want to hit her, I never really got the chance to do so.

"Get out of here, he barked at her and she immediately ran out

"What was she doing in here? I thought I told you not to call for any of them? Silas asked, taking a threatening step toward

1. me.

Of course, he was going to push the blame on me first. But I could admit that this time it was my fault.

I instantly realized that it was just the two of us alone and my heart raced.

We had been together alone before, but this time, it seemed different.

I took a step back, hoping he didn't see just how he affected me.

"She was lying to you. Why didn't you kill her? Did you let her live because the both of you have some kind of relationship?" The question slipped out of my mouth before I could stop it I sounded like a jealous wife right now, My cheeks puffed as I waited for an answer.

Why did I care if he had anything with her or not? He could fuck all the maids in this building and I wouldn't care about it

The only feeling I had for him was hatred, and nothing else.

"Why do you care about who I have a relationship with? Do you think you mean anything to me? Silas asked me, grabbing my face and forcing me to look at him.

"So you don't care if I kiss anyone else?" I asked, keeping his gaze.

His eyes blazed over and his grip on my face tightened slightly

"I dare you to do something like that. His voice was merely a whisper, his face a few inches away from mine.

My eyes darted to the door where his men stood and back to his face.

What was with this atmosphere? Why does it seem as if he was angered by the thought of me kissing Someone else?

I know that wouldn't be possible, Silas hated me. There's no way he would-

And yet, I took a step towards the door.

I had just walked past Silas when he grabbed my arm, pulling me back to him.

"Don't test me." He warned, his voice dropping a notch.

His hands on my skin sent tingles through me and I fought to keep my focus.

"What would you do? My voice was barely heard in the silent room, his heated gaze clashing with mine.

I was aware of how close his face was to mine, aware that just auch further and our lips would connect.

And I wanted just that to happen.

"You're playing with fire, little girl. And you'd get burnt if you're not careful,"

His breath was hot against my skin, a dangerous look on his face

What if I want to get burnt?" I whispered to him

It seemed as if someone had taken control of my body, making the say things I wouldn't have at that moment.

But I wanted nothing but this to happen.

"Fuck it!" Silas growled, grabbing my neck and pulling me closer to him.

He smashed his lips against mine, turning me and pinning me to the door.

My mind exploded in fireworks, light moans escaping my lips.

Silas parted my legs with his, placing his thigh in between my legs as he pressed me to the door.

"You don't know how long I've been wanting to do this," Silas growled, moving to my neck and sucking it.

He had been holding himself back from kissing me?

That confession made me feel confused but I didn't dwell on it for too long

His lips claimed mine once more with a hunger that sent shivers down my spine.

The room suddenly felt smaller as his hands moved down to my waist, holding me tightly.

His fingers dug into my skin, sending sparks through my body. Subconsciously, I arched my back with the need to be closer.

The only thing between us was the thin fabric on our body, and there was nothing I wanted more for it to be gone.

His lips traveled from my lips to my jaw, grazing my collarbone as he sucked on my skin.

I sucked in a breath, my grip on his shirt tightening. His breathing grew ragged as he explored every inch of my body with his hands.

This shouldn't be happening. I shouldn't be wanting this because it was wrong.

But I have never felt so right about anything else before.

Chapter 11

"Silas..." I moaned, the mane slipping out of my lips before I could stop it.

He pulled back for a second, his dark eyes searching mine. His chest heaved as he stared at me. His gaze was a mixture of desire and restraint.

It was as if he did everything in his power to hold himself back.

Im losing control of myself with you, I don't think I can stop. Silas whispered against my ear, his lips brushing my cheek.

He pressed his body on mine and I could feel the large bulge pressing against my thighs.

Oh..

"I don't think I can stops" Silas whispered once more.

My heart raced in excitement and I could hear the blood pumping in my veins.

I didn't know much, but one thing I was certain about was that I didn't want him to stop.

Not bothering to reply to him. I pulled him back to me, my fingers tangling in his hair.

His lips crashed against mine once more, this time, it was more desperate. His thighs pressed hard between my legs and 1 gasped, tugging at his hair.

Every touch from him sent heat through my body and I couldnt think straight at that moment.

Suddenly, Silas pulled away from me, his chest heaving. He closed his eyes, resting his forever on mine.

"We can't.. Not like this," Silas rasped, though his hands remained around me.

It sounded as if he was in pain, his breath ragged.

I bit my bottom lips, trying to suppress the disappointment I felt from his sudden distance.

"Why not?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. I was aware of the men standing right behind this door and I couldn't help but wonder if they were aware of what we were doing. Silas closed his eyes as if he was battling an internal war. And maybe he was. "Because once we started, I wouldn't be able to

His words sent thrills through me, the desire burning hotter than ever.

But it was also a warning, a chance for me to run away now. He didn't want to do anything I didn't want to do.

Right now, he gave me a chance to push away from him and run away, but I've always been stubborn

For a moment we stood there, breathing heavily as we stared at each other.

My heart beat wildly, and I made my decision.

Slowly, I raised my hand to his face, brushing my fingers against his jaw.

Whatever happened now would be entirely out of my control. But I was ready to give in to him.

"Then don't stop. I whispered to him, sealing my fate with the devil.

And in that moment, everything shifted. And the world turned upside down.
