The Maiden and The Four Waters
Chapter Forty - Two

That night ten years ago had taken a on toll those who survived even if they didn’t make it past the week.

When word had spread about the four waters attacking the small village on the outskirts of Belivanne, Kings had sent out help. Soldiers took people to medics, Walla refused to leave anyone’s side even encouraged that she be the last to be taken from the torn up village.

Walla was now twenty-seven, she didn’t rebuild her town on the outskirts of any town or anywhere that required at least a weeks travel by horse.

Instead she had come to a truce with Kings to allow the survivors to re-join the established villages.

Walla had paid for her father’s debts to the men her father had wronged.

She stood behind king’s rather than next to them. Walla had to follow their orders rather than give out her own, she had to. She had come to agreements that forced her to lose power she barely held in her own village.
